Passengers: Aurora

macmilln has done a great job here. Trying to alter the narrative to a slightly darker and Aurora centric version of the original isn't easy given the footage that macmilln had to work with. Loved the flash back scenes and felt that they worked the best out of all the edits to the film.

I was never a big fan of the original film, didn't love it/didn't hate it. From the description & reviews, I was very curious to see what macmilln did to make this one better. I enjoyed this one more than the original for sure & macmilln did what he could to improve the film, but again aftwerwards I was left with the same feeling as the original. I was hoping for a little bit different of an ending that what was given, but again macmilln could only do so much with what he had to work with. Overall macmilln's editing was great & if you are a fan of the original, I think you will definitely enjoy this edit!

I went into this film blind, having not seen the original. And I've got to say, I question why the original wasn't released like this.

A/V Editing was flawless, I was unsure of what had been changed until reading the changelist. Both waking up at the same time was a smart idea, it made it quite shocking when Jim says he's been up for over a year just a few minutes into the film. The flashbacks/Aurora freaking out intercutting was superb, I'm very impressed, as I assumed that's how the original played out whilst watching. Well chosen clips; these flashes make Jim seem unhinged during his year alone.

Superb job here by macmilln. Based on the cutlist I can say that it's definitely an improvement over the original, especially the first half.

For me this movie was pretty average and needed a better third act but with the realms of what is achievable, macmilln has wonderfully restructured the movie to be more compelling by shifting the perspective making the reveal feel like an actual twist now. Editing was brilliant, didn't notice anything was off and overall this will be my go-to version if I had to watch this movie again.

I already liked this movie but this edit just brings it to a next level.
