I quite enjoyed the original version of Passengers. It had a lot of potential but also missed the mark on a few things. A while later I also saw the video about reshuffling the order of the movie, so I was intrigued by this edit. I have to say that macmilln has done an outstanding job of turning an average movie into great one. I cannot fault any of the edits or cuts as they all work seamlessly, as well as the pacing and tone. Unfortunately it still has the issue of the ending which cannot be fixed with the content available, but I must say that this is the best version of this movie that you'll ever see.

I loved this edit. Though I've haven't seen the original. It did make me curious so I plan on watching it. It was a fantastic edit. My only critique was it showing Aurora waking up and then him. Other than that, perfect.

Yep, it works a lot better like this

Almost everyone ends the original film thinking "why didn't they tell the story from Aurora's pov?". It makes more sense to put yourself inside her head, and only then trying to understand what happened inside Jim's, just like she had to do.

The 3rd act is still a bit too rushed, but that's no fault of macmilln, there is simply no more material to work with here.

For anyone experiencing the film for the 1st time, please watch this version first

Very well done edit, restructuring the story really well, made it a much better film in my opinion.

I went into this film blind, having not seen the original. And I've got to say, I question why the original wasn't released like this.

A/V Editing was flawless, I was unsure of what had been changed until reading the changelist. Both waking up at the same time was a smart idea, it made it quite shocking when Jim says he's been up for over a year just a few minutes into the film. The flashbacks/Aurora freaking out intercutting was superb, I'm very impressed, as I assumed that's how the original played out whilst watching. Well chosen clips; these flashes make Jim seem unhinged during his year alone.

Superb job here by macmilln. Based on the cutlist I can say that it's definitely an improvement over the original, especially the first half.
