As a fan of both Alien and Riddley Scott's work this edit perfectly conveys the central message that spans both movies about creation. At first I was hesitant to watch a fanedit that combined both Prometheus and Covenant (I like both films) but without a doubt they are all the better for it. The David centric story is spectacular, it has weight and purpose throughout the film making it all the more rewarding to watch certain scenes. The editing was superbly done as was the addition of scenes like the TED talk and the arrival of David to the engineer planet. One of the best fanedits I have ever seen and most definitely the best way possible to enjoy Prometheus and Covenant without useless plotlines and tedious action.

This is my favorite film for the last six month - I keep watching it when nothing else is on. So Good!
I am not sure this film will resound as well if you haven't watched the originals, but if you have, this is the BEST way to revisit the best parts of both films. Job, you are my hero!

I love the android focus now, the beginning was odd to me the first time with the justaposition of the two films, but when it hits the outbreak, it all makes sense, and repeat viewings make the beginning even better.

Thank you Job, big fan, hope you keep making awesome stuff!!

Wow! I was blown away by how well you combined the two films into one story. I normally don't like movies that jump back and forth through time or location, but this one really worked for me by following the intersecting stories of the two synthetics (David/Walter). My only very slight criticism is that a bit more of the dialogue wasn't trimmed from Alien: Covenant. IMO that was the weaker of the two films theatrically which may play into my wish that more wasn't trimmed from that film. I really enjoyed Paradise so much that I want to go back and watch it a second time in the near future.

On a special note, I was very pleasantly surprised at your inclusion of The Beatles into the soundtrack. They sounded great, and the songs you chose worked like a charm where they were integrated into the story. I've had your song selections stuck in my head all week, and that's a good thing because they're great songs. I look forward to your future work. Thank you for this great fanedit!

As you would expect, when you start watching it is a bit weird watching two separate crews on two separate missions interspliced, but it's only weird a little bit and the stories will fuse nicely with unseen footage and some fantastic voiceover that really binds this into the definitive edition of the story so far. I highly encourage radical approaches like this. Pure joy to watch, really.

The video quality is very good even though it uses a last-gen codec. Imagine how absolutely gorgeous it would've looked like with x265 and the same bitrate.

I usually don't like this sort of merging of two separate stories into one feature. However, using David as the beacon and ignoring a lot of the unneeded material from both sources has surprisingly created an exciting story with a complex narrative that is still not too hard to follow and make sense out of it.
I really like the visual editing in this one. It keeps the pacing consistent enough and is done very creatively. And though the extensive cutting, there was still some development of characters present within the final product. David obviously is the focus. The short clips that preceded to the release of Alien: Covenant also helped and were wisely placed within the story.

The quality is top notch and the visual and audio editing is seamless.

The infection sequence inter-cutting between the two films is well done but not easy to follow.
Keeping track of two different crews, each with its own members, relations and journey can be quite exhausting.

The fanedit is great and the best edit of the month reward is well deserved. Good job Job!!

EDIT: watched it again and loved it even more. My enjoyment score is up to the 10
