Brilliant adaptation as classic cliffhanger chapter!
Black and white rendering is not overly crisp, music syncs nicely to action.
Roger Ramjet did this a few years ago with a Raiders Of The Lost Ark serial.
This is absolutely stellar, however!
Would that the entire film could be given this treatment. Or at least add on some of the Avenger sections without the superhero manboy worship.
My only issue is that the narrative leaves me breathlessly waiting.
Hey, and where’s that retro Star Wars thingy, Rogue?
Rogue is a visual master, and his expert knowledge of all things retro astounds me. Having previewed one of is in-the-works edits (which is the single greatest silent film I have ever seen--yeah), I was excited for this and it does not disappoint. Told in the form of those classic movie serials of old, Cap America is a way better movie for it. Others have elaborated on the ingenious ending so I wont, but suffice to say its brilliant. A fantastic effort as always, and really should be a companion piece to the half-as-entertaining original. Great work!
Thank you, Rogue-TheX for this in most parts fantastic piece of fanediting art, in which you managed to create something truly different to the original and an entriely different atmosphere. Great audio work, especially for a short fanedit, where many faneditors avoid the effort.
This one was very entertaining. The ending felt overly contructed and forced, but until then it was pure fanedit magic.
You caught my complete attention with this one and made my time worthwhile. What more could an audience hope for. :)
