Great to see a bit more of one of the great examples of MST3K, building out the space on the SOL beyond just the bridge a bit more, and a drawn-out, more satisfying coda to the movie. (Crow still doesn't understand how space works, clearly.) Some of the alternate riffs aren't as good as what wound up in the final film, but it's great to be able to see a bit better how the riffing process gets refined, and the additional scenes of This Island Earth really do give us greater into The Interocitor's functioning, the final fate of the captive scientists, and various gross things seen while driving around Metaluna (I kinda live out of my travel cart).
