Brief Synopsis:
All the interconnected Marvel Studios products become a massive, perfectly structured TV series, to make the journey of the Earth’s Mightiest superheroes the most epic adventure ever.

In order to enjoy the MCU in the most orderly, apprehensible and dynamic way possible, all the interconnected MCU becomes a TV show: reordered, reformatted, post credits scenes rearranged to avoid spoilers, detailed “previously” recaps created and some key deleted scenes added to each episode. Including all the One-Shots, Disney+ Marvel TV shows, Specials... even commercials! Plus, crossover with the X-Men (FOX) and Spider-Man (Sony) alternate universes in a narratively consistent way.
Intention:
Have you missed some Marvel products and you lack information, and now you’re a little out of it?
Or you don’t know their correct viewing order and you don't want to be studying messy online order lists?
Or do you enjoy TV shows structured in seasons more than chaotic movie sagas?
Maybe you want to introduce your friends or family to your beloved MCU but it’s too much complicated to handle so many Bluray discs?
Or perhaps do you just want to try something different?
Here is the solution: the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe becomes a TV series.
Additional Notes:
Delivery plan for the seasons: I will launch each season coinciding with the beginning of each "season" of the year (season 1 begins winter 2022), releasing four seasons a year. Seasons schedule: - Season 1 (beginning of the Infinity Saga): released in winter (December, 25) - Season 2: released in Spring 2023 - Season 3: released in Summer 2023 - Season 4 (end of the Infinity Saga): released in Autumn 2023 - Season 5 onwards (beginning of the Multiverse Saga): TBD - To be notified instantly when a new episode or a new season comes out, I recommend subscribing to my Youtube channel @NotflixFanEdits, where I will be announcing everything in detail with different trailers and clips. https://www.youtube.com/@NotflixFanEdits - Visit my website to know all the details about these and other edits.

Editing Details:
General fan edit changes (more detailed in section “Cuts and Additions”:

- New episodic TV series format (split the films into multiple episodes), around 40 min/1 hour x episode (around 20 episodes per season), including all the features that make the TV shows so addictive and affordable
- Episodes placed in chronological order to effectively understand the linearity of the general story the MCU tells (however, from season 5 onwards, as the MCU opened up to multiple parallel narrative lines, the series will change to a very personal but thoughtful thematic order, suitable as long as this does not incur continuity problems)
- Integrated films, Disney+ shows and different special materials within the same TV series in a homogeneous way, in order to enhance a unique sensation of continuity thank to the exclusive narrative tools of the serialized TV shows
- “Previously” recaps created for each episode to keep the audience perfectly aware of every detail necessary to fully enjoy the show, and so detailed and enjoyable that they often are like mini-specials before each episode (similar to what Marvel currently does with their Marvel Studios: Legends featurettes).
- Re-ordered/re-edit some sequences to improve the narrative
- Rearranged post-credits scenes in some episodes to avoid spoilers, something impossible to do easily when watching the movies in chronological order
- Added (and VFX completed if needed) most relevant deleted scenes in some episodes or cut those that hurt the story
- Music score, sound FX or VFX added in some episodes (normally minor changes, but that improve the scenes)
- A lot of exclusive changes for each episode (you can consult them in detail in section “Cuts and Additions”)
- Added to the MCU the X-Verse (FOX) and the Spider-Verse (Sony) alternate universes in a narratively consistent way, creating new, exclusive material as a glue to assemble everything in the same multiverse
- “NOTFLIX Fan Edits” logos + new "MARVEL The TV Series" Intro (to enhance the sense of continuity) + condensed end credits added in each episode

Having been an avid MCU fan all this time, especially for Phases 1 thru 3, and knowing just about every detail of the franchise by heart, I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed the Infinity Saga as much as I did watching Seasons 1 thru 4 of Notflix's fan edit. Enough words cannot express how much I enjoyed this fan edit series. Superb in every way! I don't think I can ever watch the Infinity Saga any other way from here on out. The restructuring of the saga in chronological order was flawless and even though I haven't been super thrilled with the Multiverse saga, I will definitely check out Notflix's Season 5 and onwards.

I love hearing that these 5 years of work have worked just as I expected, thank you for your words, they encourage me to continue. Indeed, the new Multiverse Saga that premieres in the summer of 2024 with season 5 will be more difficult to edit due to its chaotic nature, but despite this, it is turning out to be very fun to edit, restructure and improve, and I think that saga will emerge a little better than what we have now officially. I hope to see you there!

Even though I admit that I saw and know pretty much every one of the movies involved in this edit, as well as other edits of these movies, so the enjoyment would probably be way higher if I did not know them! So would be interesting to let this watch someone who does not want to watch the movies or long movies in general.
BUT the edit is done really well and I did enjoy it quite a bit, the edits were nice and stuff edited in and out made it interesting enough for me to watch to see what happens (in this edit).
So thank you for your hard work and dedication to this project NOTFLIX ! I am also curious to see other edits of you. Take care

This review is a placeholder and will hopefully be updated in the near future. It concerns the first season of the Marvel edit, mainly the first few episodes.

If you want to watch the MCU in a more bitesized format, this will scratch your hitch. Notflix as chosen the appropriate time to end the episodes and as inserted some deleted scenes to fill up each "arc". The Bucky scenes that opens episode 2 is much appreciated, but I felt that the lesson with Yon-Rogg and Carol in episode 4 was justifiably cut by the filmmakers since pretty much all of its relevant information was repeated in the next scene.

The standout element of Marvel as a show for now are the great "previously on" segment added to the appropriate episode. Clearly a lot of work were put into those.

Important to note that unlike other fan edits, this isn't some wild reimagining of the material and doesn't offer major alterations to the plot or character motivations. It won't change anyone's opinion about the quality of the original material.

As such, I must note my one major pet peeve, which is related to the credits. Notflix uses the original films' closing credits for his episodes shown at a faster speed. A good idea on the surface and one that saves a lot of time trying to recreate all of this, but the issue is that the cast and song credits are therefore erroneous.

For example, Stanley Tucci's Dr. Erskine is still on the cast card of episodes 2 and 3 even though all of his scenes are in episode 1. Episode 3's last third is taken by the Agent Carter one-shot, but director Louis D'Esposito, writer Eric Pearson and significant cast member Bradley Whitford aren't credited.

To have this edit feel like a credible tv edit, these issues should at least be dealt with for future seasons of the show. I recommend that Notflix keeps using the original credits but substitutes the cast and songwriting cards to feature only the actors and songs actually featured in the episodes.

Also, to be more mindful in the selection of which deleted scenes are put back in. Sometimes, scenes are deleted for a reason. The Bucky scene in episode 2 reintroduces the audience to the character like a proper tv show would, but the Yon-Rogg one is redundant.

A final suggestion, if Notflix does end up using alternate cast cards, I suggest only crediting the actor with the names/alias used in the actual episode. For example, in Captain America The Winter Soldier, episode 1 should only credit Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, since we see footage of him in the museum, leaving whoever is the Winter Soldier seemingly uncredited. These are the kind of strategies tv shows use to hide spoilers. If he has the time to modify season 1 of Marvel, Episode 4 should only credit Brie Larson as Vers, not Captain Marvel since she hasn't taken that mantle yet and the audience doesn't know that she's called Carol.

I understand that this review might be pedantic, but I feel that since we're talking about splitting movies into a tv show format, all of the actual editing work goes into making opening/closing credits, previously on segments, and where to cut for most dramatic and logical sense etc. It's still a nice curio, but it's just shy of feeling like an actual tv show.

Thank you very much for your review! It is greatly appreciated. I'm glad you generally liked the episodes you've seen, and I hope you continue to enjoy the series.

About the end credits:
Many current official productions credit all of their actors (and other workers) on all episodes, whether they appear in them or not, making the credits for the entire production, not episode-specific (plus, it has the benefit of that even if you have read on the internet which actors work in the production, you never know which specific actors are going to appear in each episode, and it is always a surprise). This is a fairly recent move as far as I know, but I like it and have followed it with no problem. You may not like it, of course, but it happens in real TV shows and there is nothing wrong with it.

On the other hand, the credits of the One-Shots are added to the end credits along with the others (it seems you didn't see them), so all the production workers are credited, just like in the original material.

In short, this part of your review does not conform to reality. And I'm glad, because a lot of your criticism is based on this topic, and it's not real, so I'm relieved. :)

On Yon-Rogg's deleted scene:
You're absolutely right about its redundancy, and I always thought it was a properly deleted scene, however there were some elements in the scene that I missed in the official cut (more Hala shots, earlier and better explanation of the Kree-Skrull war, etc.) so I finally decided to reinstate it. After all, it doesn't last that long. ;)

I take note of your other suggestions and thoughts, very interesting (I hadn't thought of the Winter Soldier or Carol/Vers credits issue :O).

Thanks again for your review, I really appreciate the feedback and I hope you update the text as you watch the rest of the episodes.

Enjoy!

This is the edit I have been waiting for in regards the MCU.

By about movie 20, the timeline of the movies was getting quite convoluted and though I had no real issue with it, I did want to go back and watch all of them chronologically.

This episodic conversion hits the spot in spades!!!!

It is flawlessly executed right from the start. At no point did I feel that any of the choices of break points or transitions to end credits or opening titles was forced. The natural flow of each episode, the skillfully constructed recaps, and the sympatheic title captions etc were all seamless.

I found myself being dragged trough this effortlessly.

The technicals are all top notch and I love the logo to boot.

When I previewed this for approval, there were some minor issues with audio levels and these were all expertly addressed. None of it would have prevented an approva IMO, but Notflix went right ahead and applied them regardless.

I can't wait to see the next seasons of this gargantuan undertaking and appluaded Notflix for their commitment, imagination and prowess.

Open your eyes to the MCU in a whole new light!!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Wraith, you have left me speechless. Thank you very much for leaving a review, but above all I am very glad that you enjoyed this first season, that is the only reason why I embarked on this edit years ago. Hopefully with this craziness, others can enjoy a little more the MCU they knew, and even those who weren't fans until now will definitely convert. Come on, guys, when you enter this multiverse, you can find a lot of fun!
