Personally i don't think any amount of editing is going to save this movie. But ill give Agent 9 props for trying. But i don't think the John Williams music quiet fits. But there are moments during this edit that i feel like im watching a Superman movie and not one of Zack Snyder Cinematic Abortions. Because of the music and its a upgrade to Han Zimmer totally Generic Soundtrack for MOS.. I think my only complaint is i would have cut the whole Pa Kent saying "maybe" or that whole scene. I still think the ending is a mess. But i don't think there anything anyone can do about that..

This is my first review of any fan edit. I am Christopher Reeves fan, and the score was beautiful. I loved the coloring and pace. I did not know other movies were used, so it was very seamless for me. I did notice some old sound effects, such as a flying swooshing noise, which was subtle but noticeable.
Taking the codex away from Kal's blood and into the key, was an excellent idea, and makes more sense when Superman gives it to Lois in the ship. It also makes sense when Zod is dismayed that there is no hope for his new Krypton after the Phantom Zone enslaves his crew; otherwise, Kal's blood would still be viable to use.
I am very pleased with this fan edit.

What a difference a soundtrack makes (plus some re-colouring)! I originally saw the original in 3D which was migraine inducing and as such have never been a huge fan of the movie. There were elements I enjoyed but I felt it lacked the element of hope that Christopher Reeves movies had, and hope is such an important element of Superman for me. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack was perfectly fine for the theatrical release but by adding John Williams score and re-colouring you have helped me find hope in the Man of Steel again. The only drawbacks for me stem form the original narrative which you have done a great job working with - thanks!

OMG!!! This just blew my mind, it was an excellent experience watching this edit. I felt as watching the old structure of the movie with a new take, it was just fabulous. I loved everything about it, definitely my favorite edit of Man of Steel, I loved the color grading and the transitions with the music, also the whole structure, watching a more toned down, more heroic and less violent Superman is a great thing. Congratulations Agent 9, this is by far a great view of The Man of Steel. A MUST WATCH!!!
