Brief Synopsis:
LOOPER is an excellent movie, with a few rabbit holes which the deleted scenes go some way to plugging. These scenes also flesh out some additional important character moments, plus there is a new opening credit sequence (I hate when there are no opening credits).
Intention:
I just wanted to seee more, thoug a few bits have been omitted either coz they were incomplted FX-wise or just too "flabby"
Other Sources:
Seldom seen publicly available animated trailer also available as a BD extra.

This fanedit finally realises the full potential of "Looper". Thanks for that.
If the production company had released this edit back then, the film might have been more well received and a sequel would have been made. Who knows...

Another great edit by Wraith that integrates (most of) the deleted scenes available. Some of these scenes develop and expand the movie's world so that we can see better how the main characters 'live' and others add some (interesting) exposition on the time travel rules and paradoxes.
I greately appreciate the effort of the editor and, as always, found the technicalities of the edit top notch. However, on the contraty to other edits by Wraith, I felt the narrative to drag a little and the added exposition to be a little too explicit. I would not say this is the 'defenitive' way to watch the movie, but it acts as a great complement to the theatrical cut. Or, in other words, this is a great 'extended cut' rather than a 'director's cut'.

Only at my most nit-picky does this edit just miss a perfect mark, and by the smallest hair. This is a well put together extended cut which Wraith takes up an extra notch with the added bonus of a visually striking opening credits sequence. It's almost technically flawless, as I did notice one audio hiccup during the final song where a couple extended shots were inserted. Also, I (barely) noticed some compression artifacts during an extended scene, but I don't know if that's a limitation of the original deleted scene quality or introduced in the process. Either way, it only briefly distracted me for a moment and I didn't notice it for the remainder of the film even when I was looking for it. The only other distraction was the small logo in the corner during the added footage, and while I understand its purpose it took me out of the film a bit. Narratively the extra scenes all make sense and fit in their placement, however they mostly don't add much to the film for me. Personally I prefer the theatrical version, but as an extended cut Wraith's edit certainly gets the job done and then some (that opening credits flare!).
Edit: After a closer look, I believe the extended/deleted scenes just aren't quite at the same visual quality of the film and Wraith's edit is at or near the a/v quality of the available sources, so I updated the score to reflect that.

Awesome! That is a word, that perfectly describes this movie. The addition of 21 minutes of deleted scenes makes an already good movie even greater. Wraith never disappoints as a faneditor and this is another great addition to his collection. I am really excited to see, what Wraith does next.

This is a fantastic fan edit. The opening credits are really well done, and the intercut deleted scenes add a lot to strengthen the story and are seamlessly integrated. Well done, Wraith!
