Loved every minute of this edit!
It fly's by and leaves you wanting more. I chose to watch this version before I viewed the sequel.
It's well worth your time seeking it out.

Ive watched both Color and B&W variations. but will recommend the B&W version as it's the editors preference.

I would of loved a 1080p version with a 5.1 mix as I view my movies in a home cinema a/v environment, but again I think it was to do with the editor's preference, so it's a mute point.

This was an excellent job! Its kind of a no brainier to watch this movie in black and white since the lenses that were used in the filming of this movie render great BOKEH and aberrations that look excellent in the black and white format.

There is one problem with this edit though. I think the cuts at the end where Wick gets his new dog doesn't do any favors for the movie since i think that watching Wick get up from the ground and seeing the damaged SUV parked outside the building really helps with the geography of the scene and in my opinion that should have stayed along with some seconds of out of focus footage from the very last shot that helped jell the two shots together.

That problem aside, this is some really good stuff, and i highly recommend watching it for anyone who loved the originals. They might even end up liking this a little bit more.

Heartwarming story about a cat named Keanu and his dog. . . well, his ex-dog. Also a touching portrayal of parental expectations.

Told with economy.
Presented in warm black & white.
Technically perfect, as TM2YC's edits usually are.

Masterful. Just masterful. I do not have a single thing to object here. A solid replacement of the original, in my book. As the other fellas have said, the technical quality is astoundingly good. The plot is coherent and goes straight to the point. No nonsense, just plentiful action nicely presented in black and white. A great piece of fan editing!

Top notch. This film looks gorgeous in black and white. I would need Throw to explain to me color spaces and crushed blacks but I just know it looked crisp and awesome. :) Narratively, there's some smart tightening of an already pretty tight movie. It all plays. The Russian mob boss's number 2 not knowing Russian was always annoying to me, so that's fixed. We get enough of the character to make the action resonate, which I think was the intent here. There's not really any more character work in the theatrical, anyway. Technically great and very enjoyable edit.
