Brief Synopsis:
Five strangers wake up with buckets on their heads, unknown to them, they've just started playing Jigsaw's newest game within THE BARN...

The Jigsaw Anthology Series aims to cut the Saw films down to their most enthralling plots as characters are pushed to their limits and forced to play for life or death in a series of traps
Intention:
I wanted to cut down the films to their bare bones, stripping away the cop drama from most of the films and presenting each game as a stand alone story that can be viewed in any order

For Jigsaw, I wasn't so crash hot on the whole plot twist or the newest setting for the film so by removing all that, I now have a short entry in the Anthology that works without being a sequel/reboot,
Special Thanks:
SonOfSinbad for feedback on the initial cut

Cuts and Additions:
- Colour graded on a scene-by-scene basis to align closer to the earlier films, taking away the reds and the blues to bring out more of the greens inside the setting
- Cut everything with the cops trying to figure out who is behind the game and everyone chasing a ghost, this leaves the five people playing the game in The Barn
- Trimmed lines here and there for fluidity between cuts
- Used the older Lionsgate intro as the gritter look matches better with the Saw films than the new angelic look

NOTE: I understand the limitations of the footage available to you, and I have adjusted my reviews accordingly :) great job on this anthology!

I like that this story is so self-contained and has a very clear and strong ending. You honestly can't tell that there's even anything missing from the storyline, so the cops must really suck in this one haha. This one is in my top three episodes of your series (along with 5&6). It's really enjoyable, has a good story and good traps, and overall is a really fun watch!

Oh also I can't forget to mention how much I like your posters and title cards, really great stuff!

Bobson turned a literal slog film into a fun ride. Like the rest of the anthology, it's short, it's concise, everything that is worth knowing in on screen, so let's just play a game. I would've wished the addition of a light green/yellow filter, to stick with the rest of the saga tho.

As a lover of the SAW films, this was a no brainer to watch for me. Having watched them all, I thought I would invest in a new perspective on the franchise. This was truly all KILLER, no FILLER.

This cut has cut out all of the non trap based scenes and managed to create a direct narrative within this and it works seamlessly. I was worried that it wouldn't make a lot of sense and would be choppy but the edit is crafted incredibly well and still keep the core principle of what the SAW franchise is all about.

I cant recommend this enough if you are a big SAW fan. Especially if you want a SAW film in a shorter amount of time.

Bobson Duggnutt does it again with another incredibly professional edit! I loved this approach to the Saw series, and Jigsaw in particular. This works very effectively as a "pilot" for the Saw franchise, if one doesn't mind going into the first Saw film with the knowledge that John Kramer is the Jigsaw killer. However, the first movie is still mysterious enough that the twist could be preserved with the right editing.
The Barn is incredibly streamlined, removing the mystery/cop element and focusing on the traps/horror. The story is tight and well paced.

It leaves me wanting to see the rest of the franchise given a similar treatment!

This is a very solid horror edit. Jigsaw without the police investigation, instead focussing on the traps and the game. Impressively, over half of the runtime is cut. Cuts are well done and seamless. Would definitely like to see more instalments in the anthology as a lot of the Saw films could do with this treatment.
