Jaws The Sharksploitation Edit

[SPOILER INFO!] Well that was just good fun TMBTM! I love the old fashioned angle on this plus the grindhouse effect. Except why the killer whale!! Ahhh! I will admit it came as a surprise though. I was wondering what was going to happen since the gas tank in mouth setup had been cut. But on that note, the one part of the movie prior to the end that confused me and seemed out of place was the killer whale stuff that you added in midway.

Overall great edit. I had to give you 8/10 though due to killer whale confusion.

It’s a great fanedit, probably the best I have watched so far.
Nothing to add on the praise side.

But there is one major criticism I’d like to make : the overall lack of consistency in the choice of the music. Although each reworked scene work perfectly with the selected music, when watching the whole thing together, it annoyed me. Jaws disco theme is great and works well, but the heavy metal music, although great, brings me to the 1990s, not the late 1970s, and that’s a major problem.

Awesome work. The atmosphere of the whole edit was great. This took me back to watching all the crappy B Grade horror movies of my early teenage years. Lots of great little touches throughout the edit. This is certainly one for the collection, but approach it as a new Jaws movie with only faint links to the original. Watch this with a group of friends and a few (many?) beers to really soak up the experience! Highly recommended!
