Darned good cut! It’s as if we’re peeking into an alternate universe where Steven Spielberg ended up making a schlocky B-movie instead of a classic. In this universe, Jaws was likely met with success, but the film lacked the staying power to propel Spielberg beyond B-movies. Instead, he’d likely go on to direct such films as “Quest for the Stolen Ark” and “Private Ryan Must be Saved!”, never getting much critical acclaim but building somewhat of a cult fanbase for his low-budget, crass, but endearingly cheesy films. Excellent edit all around!
