I absolutely loved this! The only thing I thought odd at the time was the insertion of some Jaws 2 clips – why would Brody have another marine biologist check out the dead orca when Hooper is already on the island? – but it became clear at the end and was just perfect. It looked appropriately grimy and had some great additions – the opening music was excellent and the ‘missing reel’ really worked. Loved the deleted scenes that were incorporated, such as finding the first victim on the beach. It won’t replace my DVD of ‘Jaws’, but of course it isn’t meant to. But this is probably the version I will show to family and friends for a laugh. First rate!
