Brief Synopsis:
Recut the 3 episodes (126minutes) into a single movie (100minutes). I streamlined the narrative by focusing on only two story arcs -- Barry and Ollie. Gone is the Kid Flash and Prof. Stein subplots as they are unnecessary to drive the main plot. Also, significantly cut the Arrow episode so it feels less like an anniversary celebration episode, thus stopping the story dead in its tracks, and more like it is part of the Dominator's plan.
Intention:
After thoroughly enjoying the recent CRISIS ON EARTH-X television crossover, I was inspired to take a crack at last year's Invasion crossover. This was done purely for myself and for fun. This was just simple, fan cut edit which I originally had no intention of sharing, it's not as polished as it could be.... but hey, maybe some else will get some fun out of it too... LOL.

This was amazing, it was like a feature length film. the only thing i noticed was haflway through it kinda slowed down alittle where one episode started and one ended but thats not bionicbobs fault thats just how the episodes were paced. seeing the whole thing combined together was perfect though. it definitely made me excited to watch the rest of the crossover edits

I'll keep this simple. Any narrative faults still present in this edit either stem from the sometimes inevitable cheesy writings of the CW shows or that this is not an actual standalone story but an in-media res narrative of many ongoing tv shows ( Vixen for example, has no proper introduction into the narrative. She just appears in the last half-an hour as one of the Legends, obviously because the CW was saving money by having Maisie Richardson-Sellers only appear in the crossover as part of a proper Legends episode).
However, all the narrative edits made to condense the story were made for the better. From my previous watch of the full event, I remember the Stein subplot, but I have no recollection of the Kid Flash one at all.
The new opening credit are not very flashy, but I like how it makes it feel like a movie. The closing credits however, are a mish-mash of all the tv credits sequence so it's a nitpick for me. I would have preferred an original closing credit, but I understand that it's a lot more work for something that was more of a quick job.
If you don't care for the Arrowverse, this isn't the edit to sway you. if you already like it, this is a great edit that keeps all the important bits. Recommended.

This was a fun edit. I honestly didn't remember much about Invasion at all other than the Hall of Justice being in there. Everything was top notch though I did give a 9 on the narrative but only because i found a few scene transitions a little jarring. That may just be me though. Otherwise it all flowed really well, no filler. It works well and definitely recommend.

Keeping it simple: I wanted to relive some of the Arrowverse's peak moments and this edit gave me exactly that. Bob's DCTV edits are legendary but somehow I never got around to them, but I'm so far correcting this. Managed to watch this all the way through this week, and while the Arrow episode was still my favorite content within, having it all in one easy to digest film made it blow by so quickly that I never gave much thought to where the episodes were stopping and starting. Obvious moments aside.
As for cuts? I have no idea, I can't remember the last time I watched this crossover, let alone yanked a DCTV show off the shelf to rewatch (partially thanks to HBOmax haha). Can't tell what's changed, all I know is this is 100% what I wanted and expected when I thought to myself "I should check out BionicBob's DCTV movie edits'. That's all that matters.

Very fun watch, I don't watch DC CW series usually, so I don't have a deep knowledge of the Arrowverse, but despite that, I really enjoyed this adventure and seeing all these characters interacting with each other, funny to see how the STAR lab hangar is shaped liked the Hall of Justice. The episodes were nicely stuck to each other, and the cuts felt very natural as if it was a made-for-TV film even. I recommend it for those like me who can't afford to watch all the Arrowverse shows but wants nonetheless to discover them.
