Interstellar: Where We're Going

It might be the emotional residue, but who cares.
I just finished watching this edit and... WOW.

The original movie is already great, but what Futon88 did here is fantastic.

And the added music is just... Wow. It fits like a glove.
I especially loved the ending, it's accompanied by one of my all time favorite songs and I like the way it's teased moments before the big payoff.

I'd stand up and give Futon88 an applause, but this is a digital forum, so just imagine I just did that.

I love the original film, but I do love this version even more

So many "small" edits to make this a focused story, now it never leaves the main themes.
I've never noticed the many small annoyances (that are kinda frequent on Christopher Nolan's films, despite his genious) that make the film a little less enjoyable. All of them are gone here, and what an experience it is now!

Never going back to the original, this is it for me!

I enjoyed this edit much more than the original film. That's not to say that the original is bad in any way; rather, I subjectively thought that the pacing in the original could have been improved upon, which this edit does in a perfect way!
The audio and visual trims & cuts are seamless, and never felt out of place, plus the placement and timing of the music accentuated the tone of a scene, and acted as a great transition to the next part of the film.
In terms of story, the editor has thankfully greatly trimmed the unnecessary parts of the film, including some lines of dialogue or attempts at humour which originally slowed the film down.
I really recommend this edit; it's a prime example of how editing can vastly improve the tone and pacing of a film!

From start to finish, it looked fantastic and looks better with the theatrical one, I'm not lying,it really was, I ain't got words to say, but all I can say is I truly recommend this edit.

This edit is flawless, it is very well done. So well done that I could not tell where the changes were made. Great work!
