Humans Are Limited

Other low scores, c’mon. I think people miss the point of this.
This is HAL 9000’s version.
The stressed out AI who more or less unravels before his passengers’ eyes.
While the humans take precautions when evaluating scenarios, they don’t factor in HAL’s almost omnipotent intelligence.
Whereas some disliked the rather open ended conclusion, I found it darkly comic. (SPOILER) Here, Dave is SOL.
Editing is solid, the plot is cohesive.
And – this short actually occurs in space, damnit!

Loved it. As a fan of the original I can recognize that it drags into arty farty territory. This edit speeds up the meat and potato’s and makes for a quick ride to the good stuff. 9/10

I thought this was very cool. Basically a short story about Hal vs. the Humans. When I got to the end, my first thought was that the short couldn’t possibly be over. But after thinking about it for a moment, I loved the alternate direction it took. Well done. 9/10
