Howard the Duck: RePlucked

I have been a fan of Howard the Duck unironically since I was a child. That being said I know it wasn't a perfect film. The pacing was strange and there were a lot of scenes of bad effects and weird cringey jokes. This edit helps the movie spread its wings and fly!

The effects are crisper and the story is smoother. There are no jarring edits, nothing of importance missing, and I am extremely impressed with the work of making this movie that was a flop when it was released come out of its shell.

The fact remains that this edit is still Howard the Duck. If you weren't a fan before, this won't likely change your mind. If you *were* a fan (like me!), this is the version of the movie you've been waiting for!

Much of the over-the-top cringe has been removed, leaving the essence of the movie to shine through. That, plus the removal/repair of some truly execrable green screen work in the original makes this a treat to watch.

If you're a fan of the original, or a fan of 80s cheese in general, this is definitely the version to see :)

After seeing Howard the Duck make his cameos in the MCU I had to see the movie so I got to go into this edit with blind experience. And the verdict is that 1stBILLED has created a fantastic smooth edit. I hardly noticed any cuts that were made, it was well-paced, humour was solid and was such an enjoyable viewing experience.

There is a fine line between camp and cringe. 1st Billed has successfully edited out many of the cringe elements in Howard the Duck without losing the excellence of the campy nature of the original. Edits are smooth and not noticeable.

This FanEdit certainly improves the movie. I can't say I thought even once while watching it that a scene was missing or that something was left out.

It certainly cut enough to make a better movie. As we've seen with other examples. George has great ideas and technical ability but needs a good editor saying 'No George' to him. This fanedit show that again!
