Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: Almighty Edit

This is a flawless edit, that was done by someone who really loves the source material the movie is based on. In my opinion, the first two Harry Potter films are the best, because they feel like the books brought to life. Almighty's edit removes the few moments of bad acting, and unnecessary character buffoonery (Ron and Hagrid), while inserting a deleted scene or two to enrich character motivations. Watching this kept my brain from doing it's usual thing of lingering on flaws. I was finally able to watch the movie and just get completely immersed in the experience. Thank you AlmightyCutie. I can't wait to watch the rest of your, what looks to be, brilliant edits. If things stay this way, my blu ray copies are going to be retired thanks to you.

This is a brilliant edit! The movie is a classic, but I always wished that some scenes of Hagrid and Ron would have been different / cut, since they just put their characters in a worse light. Now the story feels way closer to the book and is more fun to watch / can be taken a bit more serious and less just like a plain children's movie.

I skimmed through this as I am not a fan of the early movies. But I wanted to see some of the changes and I feel like they are really good choices!
I don't know what else to say about the little trims other than that they are a delight. They make the movie feel like it's going somewhere.

I really do like this cut of Sorcerer Stone overall. It keeps the extended cut but removes unnecessary things and even makes Ron seem smarter which I always was wanting to be improved since he was made into an idiot side kick. No faults here that I could see, but I am off to take a look at the other HP cuts by almightycutie.
