Brief Synopsis:
Warning screen added to the beginning of the film.
Updated intro sequence with “WW” shield instead of “HP” shield.
Two audio tracks are now available in the video file, a 5.1 surround sound and a 2.0 stereo track.
Added Neville/Seamus bridge scene with completed green screen work.
Added music to the Shell Cottage scene.
Adjusted brightness and coloring of beach scenes so they don’t look as blown out.
Added audio effect to Voldemort’s voice in the 2 places where he speaks so everyone can hear. I wanted to make the audio more ominous, something that would warrant the reaction the people give.

The final film in my set of Harry Potter extended editions.. Certain deleted scenes have been incorporated that were not added back to the TV versions, or scenes created from other content to allow for the inclusion of a deleted scene. For DH2, a majority of the deleted scenes on the blu-ray have been added back in,
Intention:
The intent of this project was to create a complete set of Harry Potter extended editions that mimic the versions seen on ABC Family/FreeForm, but are not exact duplicates. Certain deleted scenes have been incorporated that were not added back to the TV versions, or scenes created from other content to allow for the inclusion of a deleted scene.

Editing Details:
To finish out the series, I wish DH2 had more deleted scenes to add back in. That said, there were some scenes that were not finished enough for me to include. I didn't include the Ron/Hermione snake chase scene at the end. With the CGI snake in rough form in the deleted scene, I didn't feel like it was high enough quality to put in. In my opinion, the dialogue would also take away from the building excitement. I hope you will enjoy the extended conclusion to the Harry Potter series.
Cuts and Additions:
- Added Shell Cottage scene where Bill tells the trio to live up to any bargain they have made with the goblin
- Added Luna/Harry scene at Dobby's grave
- Added Harry/Ginny scene marching with the rest of the Gryffindors to see Snape
- Added Lupin/Tonks scene at the start of the war
- Added Slytherin dungeon scene

Recently finished all these jjpotter extended editions of the harry potter films and they were fantastic! the deleted scenes were seamlessly integrated and extended my enjoyment of the films just a little bit longer. The one exception for me is the longer dance scene in goblet of fire, but I can't fault the editor for that one. These are exactly what good extended editions should be!

This is a well executed edit, and the deleted scenes are welcome, especially the one at Shell Cottage which does a little to restore the excellent world building J.K Rowling does establishing the conflict between Wizards and Goblins in the book to a film that would be much richer for it. That said, the editor himself acknowledges there were not as many scenes to work with as he'd have liked, and the film doesn't feel THAT different to the Theatrical cut. Still, it's going to be my go-to version from now on.
