Just got done watching this and I really love it!!!!

I love the transitions between the two movies, they transition between each film in a amazing way!
I also Love the intro to this fanedit!

I really like how this fanedit begins as a really cool recap or it can be seen as another cool fight scene to the film!
Also the trimming done to KOTM was really useful for speeding up the story and getting rid of scenes that may have dragged too long.

Definitely check this one out!

I don't really have much to say. King of the Monsters was already a great film and this edit managed to make it much better!

Video and audio quality were nice and crisp if that's the right word, albeit a few scenes were a bit dark, and merging the final act of the 2014 film into KOTM was a pretty good idea, but it'd only make sense if you have already seen Big G 2014.

And things make much more sense in the plot due to the narrative edits. Not that they didn't make sense before, but it's nice to have things be more clear.

I'm not much of a reviewer so this may sound weird, but overall this edit is a wonderful improvement to an already awesome film and I can't recommend it enough.

An outstanding edit and a great improvement on the originals. I thought the film(s) looked and sounded as good as they ever have and all of the editing work went by without notice. Much of the family drama padding has been removed, which gives it better pacing and none of the human drama is actually lessened or made less intelligible as a result of it.

It starts with a strong melding of the two films, and where it begins from 2014 is an excellent choice, and transitioning to KOTM is smooth and seamless, as are all of the edits. I found myself wondering where exactly little bits I recalled had been. I've seen the originals numerous times and I was mostly having to strain to recall what even had been removed, which seems a great sign of editorial discretion and the fact that the originals have an unfortunate amount of table dressing.

There are still a few weak moments remaining from the originals that continue to take me out of the moment, but that is certainly no fault of the editor, who made the most of how the original filmmakers had constructed the films. Those few nagging bits (and I mean few, like 2-3 couple second exchanges) were the only real detractions for me, keeping me from giving it a 10 in narrative and enjoyment.

Overall, very well done and I'm pleased to have been able to give it a screening!

I like the first Godzilla film, although I felt too much time was spent on character development, particular given that none of the characters were all that interesting. The second film is a bit of a mess, but we got much more of a cut to the chase monster movie in Godzilla vs. Kong. This edit expertly combines the first two films (mostly the second) to create a perfect pairing for the third. In losing all the character development, the focus is purely on the monsters and the terrific special effects. It's much more of a roller coaster now, which is exactly what I was looking for.

The editing is seamless and expertly done. Highly recommended.

So i’ve watched the re-release of this edit and it’s so much better than the first two movies. I felt very entertained and the human interaction is cut down as much as possible, the bad writing is still noticable. But this edit accomplished what i didn’t expected.

Perhaps the audio levels between action and dialogue could’ve been more aligned to each other.

Well done, Malthus, well done.
