Wraith made a masterpiece with these 2 opuses. As mentioned earlier by other user, his edits do rival Coppola's versions. Wraith truly loves cinema and now he is in the pantheon of great editors of cinematography canvas. Kee up the great work Wraith. And may i suggest you cracking an fanedit of silence of the lambs incorporating outakes and deleted scenes(?)

I've watched the Don Vito Opus and it's wonderful. Young Vito's adventure feels truly epic in a way that previous versions failed to capture. I noticed that in the very first shot of the movie with the funeral procession, the last third of the screen "flickered" slightly, but that's the only possible flaw I can find. Great job.

Great edit. I enjoyed watching this edit thoroughly. The deleted scenes being added significant depth to the story. I have previously read the book and there are scenes that were in the book but not the movie such as the director with a child at his home crying. A reference to pedophile directors which is all too common in Hollywood. An "infamnia"! It makes the movie even more real life than before. Thank you for your edit. I don't believe I'll be able to watch the original version and enjoy it as much anymore!

During the last weekend, I had the opportunity to watch Don Vito's Opus. And I must say I am deeply impressed by the quality of the reconstruction made by Wraith: It provides a phenomenal chronological view of the story of Vito Corleone. Of course I knew the story, but watching it chronologically, with this quality and with added scenes, has been a huge pleasure.

I particularly enjoyed the new scenes filmed in Sicily, which I had not seen before. They have been seamlessly integrated into the rest of material, to the point they are almost impossible to differentiate from the rest of the official material released in movies. The labour of love in this reconstruction is obvious from the beginning, with the perfect quality of the titles in the scenes of the procession before the burial of Antonio Andolini.

I had received as a gift the initial version of Godfather I and II in chronological order released officially in VHS; but Don Vito's Opus goes clearly further than that, not only because it is offered in HD, but also because it is IMHO the perfect version, offering a cohesive view of probably the best movies ever.. I think even Coppola would be proud of this version, and I must congratulate Wraith for his amazing work on this version. Now I am ready to watch Michael's Opus as well!
