Godfather: Don Vito's Opus, The

I am beyond impressed with Wraith's incredible effort. This edit is the definitive cut of The Godfather.

Read the book for the first time this month, I was struck that this was the story of two Godfathers, not one. I so love this project by Wraith. He is taken a story of three movies and made it the story of two Godfathers. We get to see two (anti)hero's journeys with more focus and clarity than the original movies. I love the original movies and this project only helps me appreciate these movies in a different way: one man's rise and fall...followed by a sequel of one man's fall and redemption.

I've always been a fan of the Godfather series, and this edit brings them to the next level. Wraith's work on these films is amazing, and he's constantly updating them to the best versions that he can. I highly recommend that any fans of the series watch these.

I highly recommend this edit. Perfect edit in sound and visuals and finally in HD. If your a fan of this film, and who isn't, it is great to see this version. It becomes a new experience when you see this film in sequence and with footage you might not be familiar with. I did not see any issues at all and this would have made a perfect version that Mr. Coppola said he would never release. So for all you Godfather fans....you must have this!

I love both versions of these mixes, although the original films are very good, I feel that these versions develop the characters more and give a deeper understanding of their motivations. Very good job
