This movie is perfect for the Grindhouse treatment IMO. It was made as an homage to the old drive-in movies and I think Tarantino and Rodriguez would get a kick out of knowing this was made.

The use of Full Tilt Boogie is quite inspired. At first it provided some good chuckles but as the edit progressed it brought a much deeper tone to it all. I especially loved the opening title sequence but there are many incredible moments throughout.

I will say that most of the interview footage brought me out of the experience a bit. I think I understand why they were included, but maybe it was a little overdone.

The technical aspects of this edit are excellent. All of Leeroy’s work to age the film and cut together different elements is done well.

The bloopers over the credits were a great touch. Hate to be nitpicky about it though but I couldn’t help but think it looked too digitally added.
