I love it! A lot tighter than original! Including this with original!

A great edit! I like all of the trims made, all seamless, as well as making the narrative stronger. I especially liked the rescore and also the reduction of Karen. Overall, picture quality is compressed, but not very bad. Ending song is perfect! Well done, Bobson!

Ditko and Romita fans rejoice: here is your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man! Like other high-school kids, Peter has insecurities, a worried aunt, awkward social dynamics, an infectious youthful exuberance, and a tough time to balance everything in his life. Unlike any other kid, that life includes amazing superpowers.

This edit thankfully removes Tony Stark's reboot of Uncle Ben's famous "With great power comes great responsibility". Without the voice-over, the visual is all the stronger. Peter comes into his own as Spider-Man under his own power.

The Ramones' song is so perfect as a rousing finale, that you'll be hard-pressed to remember what music was there in the original.

Overall editing is outstanding. Technically invisible and strengthening the narrative. Removing "8 years" sadly also cuts the Vulture landing in his lair, and I would have liked to keep one "hot" Aunt May joke. Maybe the latter depends on the age of the viewer? Is aunt May your parents' age or your own age?

To sum up, this edit convincingly replaces the original. Excelsior!

Picture is a little soft but still high quality HD.

The cuts and trim of various jokes and moments throughout the movie help to maintain a more consistent tone and let's the more serious moments have breathing room. One of my personal favorite cuts is the removal of Toome's saying he thought he used a non lethal gun. It is a simple trim that makes him all the more menacing as a villain.

Also the choices of including the classic Elfman score and the Iron Man 3 theme work incredibly well in the movie and give the scenes a sweet feel.

This is a top notch edit that makes for a well improved experience of an already great movie.

Bobson has taken one of my favorite Spider-Man movies and made it even better. Mainly small changes throughout just tightened up some of the humor that didn't land. I really liked the inclusion of the Elfman Spiderman theme. Fantastic work!
