A vastly improved light pruning of Homecoming; I'd give it high marks for the fixing of the Ferris Bueller audio alone, even if the rest wasn't fantastic. My only quibble is with the decision to move the Tony Stark/Pepper Potts proposal scene. Deleting it made sense for what the edit seemed to be going for, and I sort-of understand re-instating it as a mid-credit scene but it also seemed to be a half-measure that broke up the flow of the movie. Either make the edit based on centralizing Peter or don't. (Not a massive deal, just didn't seem worth the change for what it accomplished.) However, small potatoes compared to the small but meaningful changes to the storytelling throughout. Unquestionably this will be my go-to for rewatches.

This is probably my favourite edit from Bobson. He has fixed so much that I dislike about the theatrical cut that this is my preferred version to watch, beating out my 4K blu-ray.

I especially loved breaking up the ending and leaving the engagement announcement until mid-credits, also the new credits and song are sublime!

This is it, my definitive go-to version of Spider-Man Homecoming. Not only is this edit technically flawless (all edits are absolutely seamless), but Bobson Dugnutt has masterfully crafted an edit that's subtle and impactful at the same time. This is not a dramatic re-imagining of the film. Instead, a light, artistic touch was used to give us essentially the same movie, *JUST BETTER* all around. Jokes and gags that wore thin are artfully snipped, while a few scenes are rearranged or restored in order to enhance the narrative flow.

The end result is that we have an edit that works far better as a standalone Spider-Man film than as an Avengers spin-off. Bobson Dugnutt has proven himself to be a master editor, and if you're a fan of the source material (or just a little interested), you owe it to yourself to watch this version of the film!

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man is a great shelf-replacer of Homecoming itself. I watched this before seeing No Way Home and nothing in this that was cut or added contradicts the latest movie. This is a very light edit and the cuts are done seamlessly. Except for one hard cut that I noticed in the bodega when Peter receives the sandwich. Which may have been unavoidable if the Aunt May jokes needed to be cut out. The title card at the end of the film was also great it looked as if it was official. Overall if you are looking for an edit that cuts out the fat and keeps what is necessary for the film this is it.

So, I actually grabbed a copy of this on blu-ray and watched it for the first time in anticipation of watching this fan-edit. The rest of the MCU has benefited so much from the love of fan-editors, so I decided if I was going to bite the bullet and actually catch up with the MCU after writing it off after GotG2, going for the fan-edits was the way to go. Not disappointed. This movie was actually much better than I anticipated, but the fan-edit made it possibly my favorite Spider-Man movie. Like Bobson's other edits I have watched, the trims were just that, trims, but they shaped the movie into something much greater than it was at first glance. As usual, I saw nothing glaring from the editing side of things, but that is not my expertise. The story and the humor really popped, though, when given the TLC they deserved.
