Brief Synopsis:
The date is moved back by a year so that this happens on a real Friday the 13th.
The ending has been heavily altered to maintain closer continuity with the following films.
There are many cuts made to alter the timeline, remove filler, tighten the editing & improve the overall ambiance.
This project aims to bring stronger continuity, tighter editing & improved pacing to all 12 films in the Friday the 13th movie series.

Editing Details:
I tried to stay true to Bruce Green's editing style from the original film. I didn't want anything to seem changed or altered at all.
This mostly meant simple cutting & a general documentarian-style approach.

I'm going to keep these reviews very brief as I'm reviewing numerous films in RayDanger's series -

First off, the Friday the 13th series is not top shelf cinema, but they are a fun set of films. RayDanger does a miraculous job of streamlining the entire series, providing a lovingly curated narrative that is more sensical that the ones that the original producers released.

It terms of visual tone, audio, and overall editing, the experience is greatly improved with greater emphasis on suspense throughout.

Part 5 is a particular duck and it seems to garner only love or hate, and I always fell in the former category. Ray Danger's edit helps to tighten up the narrative's logic and pace, resulting in a more mature film that is just as vicious as the theatrical cut.

This movie is a disaster. This fanedit makes it less disastrous. This fixes and cut scenes and removes 10min of runtime and this is definitely without a doubt the best way to watch this dumpster fire of a movie.
