This was a very enjoyable short story. It clearly told the tale of two people who met when one of them was stronger, the many years and travels between, and the breaking of that friendship through new strength. The flashback of it all was done very well, and despite having no details, character backgrounds, location information, or wider narrative, the impression it left me with was less of a "...what?" and more of a "...wow." Well done.

Watched the MKV. Some noticeable compression in darker areas, otherwise quality seemed very good.
This functioned well enough as a standalone story, but I still felt like I was missing quite a bit of wider context. The basic, micro-narrative of a longstanding history between two characters is easy to grasp though, even if the macro narrative lost me. Editing was seamless and nothing gave me the impression that I was watching a fanedit.
Again, not a fan of the dub, and the inclusion of the original language as an option would have been appreciated.
