Another movie made less bad. Still not great, but infinitely better.

Technically, Keo is an excellent craftsman and his achievements throughout this project are impressive. But in his quest to remove certain lines of dialogue or to change the context of some moments, the inner pacing/rhythm of those scenes or moments occasionally feel off a bit to me. Examples of this would be the Lasso of Truth scene or the two Barry's and Underwear scene. While the original versions may be cringe inducing or overly ridiculous, they have a narrative beat, that once removed, the scenes play slightly more awkward.

All the cuts vastly improve the pacing and individual character beats. Some cuts are more subjective than others. Personally, I loved the original version of all the cameos, so I was disheartened by the truncated version.

The new music additions are great, the audio levels are nicely balanced and serve the narrative emotion very well. Though I thought maybe they could have used a bit more underlying ambience. Particularly with the new ending, as I thought the background ambience dropped out far too sudden before Barry super speeds offscreen.

But wow! What a fun and satisfying new ending. Barry learns his lesson, thus becoming a genuine hero and the custom end credits are exceptionally charming.

On the whole, a remarkable improvement and very entertaining.
Thumbs Up! :)

Wakeupkeo brings his exceptional series of DCEU edits to a close on a fitting note--with a film about a guy realising that he's got to make the best of the deeply flawed reality he's living in. I don't think you could come up with a better metaphor for what Wakeupkeo has accomplished with these edits.

Well done!

Another great edit by WakeUpKeo! Just about all of my biggest gripes with the theatrical release were addressed in this edit. As always the audio is absolutely perfect with a Keo edit. The more egregious CGI from the movie was removed, and the editing makes the scenes transition effortlessly. I highly recommend if you are interested in watching a better version of The Flash movie.

This edit is fantastic. As always, Keo's editing is great. The audio and video work is perfect. I actually enjoyed the original, and this edit takes it up a notch and makes it even better.

I have seen a few edits of The Flash so far but they either cut too much or not enough. This edit is the sweet spot for me and the choices have been well thought out, even improving the actual narrative of the film and its overall message which was lost at the end in the original.

The audio and visual are top notch. The editing and removal/addition of scenes is truly seamless. The AI voice work/FX are also seamless.

This easily replaces the original for me and will be my go-to version now for sure.

Highly recommended if you liked the original or just want a good two hour popcorn superhero flick.

Congrats on another ‘bad’ movie made less bad.
