Father Time

Great edit of a really enjoyable film. Distilling it down to the father/son relationship works perfectly. I'm a huge sucker for father/son relationship films so this is right in my wheelhouse. The cuts were invisible and the music great. I don't remember if that song played at the end was in the film or not but either way, it worked for me. This is a really fun way to view it. It's hard for me to say whether or not the emotional punch works on its own since the short evoked a lot of the emotions from when I saw the full movie. I suspect it works on its own, though. Great job.

A nice little short. Very well made, seamless cuts all around. I feel like this is a story that really requires more meat and, um, time. It works, but the emotions aren't as keenly felt.

I liked this one. The A/V, cuts, and audio work were on target. The story was wholesome and interesting. Definitely worth a watch.

So many time travel stories are about the dangers of the act of time travel. Others are about interfering or observing crucial moments in history, or correcting errors in one’s own life. But the fact of the matter is, the most human, the most realistic use for such a thing is in all likelihood the opportunity to get back those moments stolen away – the chance to visit loved ones long gone. Touching – truly touching.
