I echo the above reviews. I liked this movie, but felt very betrayed in how the “twist” (“What a twist” – think Robot Chicken) was revealed and executed. I was excited to DL this movie and watch it. It was exactly what I expected it to be and enjoyed it. I also enjoy the original, but this is edit is the better of the two.

I’m surprised this edit isn’t reviewed much more highly. I agree that there are some continuity issues (magic rocks, sister being killed in an “alley”, etc.), but as a fanedit, the idea is perfect. Execution could be slightly improved, but overall, very few changes would need to be made for this to be finished.
This edit has an intensity not experienced with the original and is an obvious improvement. Mr. Shamalamadingdong can’t make a gimmick-free movie and thanks to Voodl, we have one!
