Brief Synopsis:
"In the twilight of the 1950s, on one fateful night in New Mexico, young switchboard operator Fay and charismatic radio DJ Everett discover a strange audio frequency that will change their lives forever... "

The Vast of Night is a 2019 American science fiction mystery little film (a dialogue heavy one) premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival and acquired later by Amazon Studios for its streaming service. Despite being an interesting movie, it was too long and dull and required a good snip so that the benefits it contains could be truly appreciated, So it's shorter now, like an episode of an old mystery TV show.
Intention:
The film was too long and dull, although interesting, so it's shorter now, like an episode of an old mystery TV show.
Additional Notes:
A film is directed by Andrew Patterson and co-produced and written by Patterson (under the pseudonym James Montague), loosely based on the Kecksburg incident and Foss Lake disappearances. The movie premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2019. Then, Amazon Studios acquired distribution rights to the film and for now it can only be seen on its streaming service.

The bad: everything is way too dark. The original suffered with this problem too, but the editor seems to have darkened the film even more.
The good: The pacing is much, much better. While the original felt slow at the start, the edit jumps straight into the story.

Hi, potato.

About the image, I didn't touch it at all, so it's strange that it looks "darker than the original" to you, since it's exactly the same as the original. May you have seen the old first version to test where I did touch the image? In the final version (the only available now) this modification has been reverted due to the problem you mention.

Thank you for your review and best regards!
