Brief Synopsis:
A trilogy of horror so terrifying, that Bionic Bob and Last Survivor had to combine it into one epic horror movie, the likes of which has never been seen before! Okay, that's the hope at any rate.
Intention:
Omen Revelations is an attempt to combine the Omen Trilogy into one epic horror movie, which depicts the rise to power for the antichrist, Damien Thorn, as he attempts to inherit the Earth and defeat the second coming of the nazarene. This is not told in strictly linear form however. The third film, The Final Conflict, acts as the backbone to the edit, with Damien now 32 years old and building an empire with legions of disciples from all walks of life. It seems it can only be a matter of time before he settles into the Whitehouse and eventually becomes the most powerful man on the planet. His rise to power is told in-between with carefully chosen footage from The Omen and Damien: Omen II, with the hope being that we present a fanedit which whilst not told in strictly linear fashion, will nonetheless flow naturally and entertain.

Cuts and Additions:
Considering we have cut over 2 hours out of these 3 films, a cutlist would be too much to bear listing I'm afraid. Suffice to say that we wanted to trim as much as we could from all the movies, making The Final Conflict act as what you might call the "backbone" or "focus" of the story, whilst scenes from The Omen and Damien:Omen II are carefully slotted in-between to tell the uprising of the antichrist, Damien Thorn, as fluidly as possible.
** Some of the death scenes have ended up being cut for pacing purposes... particularly in Damien: Omen II which in all honesty has many characters who are quickly introduced only to be killed straight away
**One thing we can say is that there is a new surprise ending, in an attempt to try and make the somewhat lackluster finale of The Final Conflict have a bit more impact.

I didn’t understand the need to repeat the opening scene (which I thought was a great choice, in the first place, for setting the stage for the film), the viewers remember it and nothing is gained by repeating it. An abridged version might have worked, though.

On another note, what a great ending; it shows the impact an apparently simple editing choice may have on a narrative.

The jumps between timelines were very well done, the scenes hinted at the setting with no need for any on-screen text (which would have been a mistake here). Also, for a 3h long film, the pacing is really well managed. The score is also used effectively.

I really enjoyed this edit! Perfect editing and visual quality. Pacing was good and I enjoyed the parallels between each timeline. Only thing I didn't like was the ending and that's not the fault of the editors. Ending of Final Conflict is pretty lame.. The new ending tells you it's not over, but I was hoping for an Armageddon-type ending. Not the fault of the editors just a problem the movie had. I'd recommend this edit to fans of the Omen movies and horror fans in general. It sucked me into the world despite the separate narratives. That part cannot be understated. Showed it to a friend who'd never seen a single one of the movies and he understood it completely. Thank you for letting me view it!

Okay I asked for this quite a while ago, but with recent domestic problems it was only recenly I was able to finally watch it.

I really enjoyed this edit, but I think one slight issue is the back and forth early on, if you're not familiar with the films individually it might be a bit hard to keep track of what is taking place in era initially as the films all have a similar look to them which is a result of supposedly setting a film years later but filming only a year or two apart (e.g every 80's horror franchise) but I think it does a rather good job of showing us Damiens life as a whole. As it was discussed before I watched the edit I made it clear that I simply enjoy Omen II: Damien and I was advised that the film would be heavily truncated from this edit. Did that affect my enjoyment? not at all, Omen 2 is simply 80% final destination style filler, people turning up to the party just so they can be offed. What we learn from Damien's teenage years now is how he comes to be the head of the business, his acceptance of his legacy and why he now talks with an American accent :D

The new ending is a cheeky enough trope to other horrors that end openly, or those classic X-files closeouts and yes I enjoyed it too.
And yes I did watch this all in one sitting, so extra kudos on a runtime that never had me checking the time.

Thanks BionicBob and Last Survivor!
This is a great Edit!
Yes it’s over 3 hours long but the pacing is very good.

Maybe the movie could be confusing for someone not familar With the Omen films and the change between the storylines/films
I’m planning to show This Edit to someone who haven’t seen it Before.

The Only Thing I missed was the Scene at the Zoo from The first Omen film but that would make This long Edit even longer so I understand why This scene have to go.

Overall a great Edit l’m looking forward to your next project.

Very interesting and enjoyable take on the trilogy. Took me a few minutes to get the hang of the flow of the edit. Once I did I watched it twice. Thank you Bionic Bob and Last Survivor for your hard work and all the popcorn I made while watching this. I look forward to other edits from you
