The Dark Knight Rises has some of the strongest elements of the trilogy, but is ultimately weighed down by its bloated running time, illogical narrative (especially in the 3rd act), jokey one-liners, and arguably, the failure to stick the landing in the film's final moments. This edit aims to strip down the finale of Nolan's trilogy to its core, emphasising the stronger aspects of the story and hopefully offering a more emotionally satisfying conclusion to Batman's story as a whole.

The Dark Knight is undoubtedly the crowning achievement of Nolan's Bat-Trilogy. It is rightly considered a classic of modern cinema, however, it is still victim to many of the flaws that plague the trilogy as a whole, including poor humour, weak performances from supporting characters, clunky exposition and jarring narrative details. This edit attempts to tighten up The Dark Knight, trimming those elements that detracted from this wonderful film, hopefully allowing what remains to be all the more enjoyable as a result.

Batman Begins is a great origin story, establishing the gritty and realistic tone that would come to define Nolan's trilogy. Unfortunately, the film is also weighed down by numerous issues, including clunky exposition, poor attempts at humour, distracting CGI effects, and an overly yellow colour grade in many scenes. This edit attempts to fix those issues, hopefully strengthening this already great film and allowing its stronger elements to shine through.

This version of Superman II strives to be a sequel to Richard Donner's masterpiece Superman: The Movie. I've tried to use the best takes of Donner scenes to better tell his story, complimented with a greater use of Ken Thorne's score. Featuring a new opening and ending this edit simply picks up where the original left off and ends unresolved, in the sense that the sequels don't fit into Donner's universe.

I love Pryde of the X-Men, it's cheesy goodness, but there are some things about it that really make it feel very silly, the narration by Stan Lee tells us things that frankly we can easily gather from the story being allowed to breath on it's own, whilst Logan talking in a weird australian voice (no offense Hugh Jackman), made this pilot episode quite infamous. I thought to myself, "How much better would this ep be if such things were removed?" Here is my answer.

Captain John Carter of Virginia finds himself mysteriously projected to the world of Barsoom and made capitive of the savage green men of Thark. With him is Dejah Thoris, the beautiful and brilliant Princess of Helium. Together, they must learn the secret of the evil Matai Shang and The Holy Therns in order to save both of their worlds!

Part 3 in this new Trilogy removes the depressing elements in the theatrical release, and also the kid. This edit aims to build tension throughout the movie.

Sent to Earth from a dying planet to later grow up and become its savior, Superman is given an epic treatment by director Richard Donner. The Up, Up and Away Edition tightens up the pacing of the film while still retaining the overall story that was told when Christopher Reeve proved a man could fly back in 1978. Since most edits of this film combine Superman I and II as Richard Donner was intending on telling one large story, this edition focuses primarily on Superman I. Witness Kal El's journey from boy to man and from man to Superman without the appearance of the three Kryptonian outlaws, constant bickering between Lex Luthor and his henchman Otis, why Clark shouldn't use the word "swell," a complimentary pimp, a voice over of Lois' inner thoughts, and without the need to turn back time. Richard Donner presented us with a classic tale for the ages. This edition tinkers with the film ever so slightly so you can get up, up and away sooner with the man of steel.

EVE OF DESTRUCTION
The Bionic Woman must stop the maniacal supercomputer ALEX 7000 from detonating a secret weapon that will end all life on Earth!

This two part episode is pretty much perfect in its original form. But I wanted to try something new creatively, so I have added the classic protest song Eve of Destruction to three scenes to try to add another/different layer of drama. This idea was directly inspired by one of my favorite tv shows as a teen, The Greatest American Hero "Operation Spoilsport", which incorporated the same song in its doomsday storyline.

BONUS FEATURE: The Six Million Dollar Man must save a Soviet Scientist from an earthquake ravaged secret underground base before it is destroyed by a nuclear bomb! This is the original inspiration for "Doomsday is Tomorrow" and prequel to THE DEATH PROBE!

Part 2 in this new Trilogy takes the Man of Steel to unexpected places - he falls in love - world peace is threatened - and he is poisoned by the creation of his nemesis.

'Thor - The Dark World' with the narrative in a more logical order, so scenes now flow from one to the other naturally. A new ending has been created more in keeping with the narrative thrust of both this film and the first 'Thor' movie. Repetitious exposition scenes either removed, truncated or used at a point in the story where they actually make sense. Also two deleted scenes have been colour corrected and added back.

I began this project because I actually liked a lot The Amazing Spider-Man when it was released back in 2012, but it was not free of errors. So basically, I did this edit because I wanted to improve something that was by it's own very solid.

Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass return, but this time they are not alone. Inspired by their exploits, a new wave of wannabe super heroes have emerged. Led by the noble Colonel Stars and Stripes, they are called Justice Forever!

This is a modern edit on a classic tale that will appeal to today's audiences who expect a quicker pace and more action. The story has been streamlined which permitted to add some story elements from Superman II. The end result is more action in a similar running time.

No flashback structure. No voice-overs. Altered POV shots. Far less crummy CGI and wirework.

In this sequel to The Atom Man, Superman's battle against his most dangerous foe continues. Just when the Atom Man is about to destroy Metropolis, the Kryptonite power in his blood runs out. In order to get ahold of one of the remaining pieces of Kryptonite, he teams up with the sinister Sydney. Knowing that Clark Kent is Superman, they lure the mild mannered reporter into a trap, intent on finishing him off for good, so they can finally rule the world.

Atom Man in Metropolis is a story arc spanning 19 episodes. The original episodes have a running time of about 12 minutes, including an intro and an outro, a commercial break and recaps, as well as many drawn-out scenes of repetitive or expositional dialog. In order to enhance the pacing I removed all of the unnecessary stuff, rearranged bits of dialog, and cut some episodes almost entirely. I also added music, which the originals didn't have at all, and several sound effects.

One of the biggest complaints I heard about Superman Returns was that it stayed too close to the pace and structure of Superman The Movie. The biggest complaint I have with Superman Returns, is that it didn’t.

In STM, the world we are introduced to is unveiled to us in a way that is focused and engaging (for the time) by introducing us to, and remaining with, the characters that matter to us. They matter to us because they set up who Superman will become and where he came from. By the time we have arrived in Metropolis we believe and are invested in Clark Kent and how this character is going to make his way in a world that is, for all intents and purposes, our own.

In Superman Returns, that 40 minutes of investment conveyed to us in STM is instead written for us on a text card. The introduction to Kal-El’s origins is a voiceover and the opening shot is of a Gothic mansion with manic characters. We are simultaneously being asked to believe in the film as a continuation of the world introduced to us in STM whilst in the first 6 minutes of the film we are told in no uncertain terms that this world is most definitely not that one, and we still have no character to attach to. When Superman does finally appear we have no idea where he has been and really, do we care?

My Re-Edit seeks to address this.

At 2 and a half hours including credits, it is now closer to the film that I believe Norton envisaged when he adapted the existing screenplay.

The deleted scenes have been inserted as seamlessly as I could manage with some colour correction and additional score to fill out the soundspace. Additional score has been placed over deleted scenes that didn't have any, and surrounding scenes to help their insertion feel organic.

Scenes that were rearranged from the script in the theatrical version have been placed back into their original context generally surrounded by once deleted scenes.

In this thrilling sequel to The Scarlet Widow, Superman battles the most dangerous foe he ever encountered: The Atom Man. Using a piece of Kryptonite, Der Teufel, a mad Nazi scientist, transformed young Heinrich Milch into said monster, in order to first enslave Superman and then the rest of the world.

If you liked Vol. 1, I'm sure you will love the sequel. Not only is it an entertaining story, it also feels like some sort of historical time capsule. The way they address Nazis, WW2 or the Atomic Bomb is pretty mindblowing, considering this was a show aimed at kids. Volume Two is also darker and more action packed than the previous edit.

The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial that aired from 1940 to 1950. Every episode has a runtime of about 12 - 15 minutes, including an intro and an outro, a commercial break and rather long recaps as well as scenes of repetitive or expositional dialog. You're basically left with about 6 to 7 minutes of actual story. I removed all of the unnecessary stuff and turned eleven episodes into one. I also added sound effects and musical cues from John Williams' score (plus a few seconds of Hans Zimmer).

The 11 episodes I picked are the beginning of a 76 episode story arc; the longest sequence the show ever did. It's the story of The Scarlet Widow stealing the only existing piece of Kryptonite and splitting it between four of Superman's enemies. One part of the Kryptonite is stolen by Der Teufel, a crazy Nazi scientist, to power The Atom Man.

The Bionic Bigfoot returns! When civil war erupts between the San Angelo Aliens, Colonel Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers must team up to stop the renegade aliens from causing a global cataclysm on their way to world domination. But to stop the evil aliens, they must first defeat The Savage Sasquatch!!!

Bionic Bob recuts the Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman two part season opener "The Return of Bigfoot" into a single, slam-bang-slo-mo-pow, pure 1970s tv action adventure movie.

This is not an aggressive fan edit, as I love about 90% of this movie and watch it often.

But I wanted to create an alternate viewing version that makes the Shadow more mysterious and darker. To this end, I have cut all direct explanations of his origin. I have made all scenes that feature the Shadow more serious, removing any or all forced humor where possible.

And of course, I have altered the video to a grainy, public domain style black and white adventure B-movie.

Watching Superman III - the 3 Stooges comedy team featuring RICHARD PRYOR (oh, and Superman occasionally) sucks. So, I decided to decrapify/rePRYORitise Superman III. Now we get to watch a SUPERMAN movie, without all the "comedy", and without Pryor able to survive skiing off a freaking skyscraper (is he Superman too?).

This edit was intended to be the “Requel that should have been”, a legitimate end cap to the original Superman Movies. My hope is that this will become your go to version, and great effort has been put in to make the story as seamless and engaging as possible. Enjoy!

A combination of the Watchmen film with the original graphic novel. Video and sound from the film are used to fill in gaps between each panel of the comic and bring it to life.

I am combining the origin story from the 1st film with the villain from the 2nd film (Doc Ock) and any scene from the 3rd on that could be useful to make a new story mostly on Peter and his journey to become a hero, simplifying the awful romance with Mary-Jane to the very basics and essentials, removing all useless side characters, getting rid of some side-plots and making it a little more serious by removing many of the stupid campy stuff from the first 2 movies.
