This edit mixes the original 1982 Blade Runner with 2017's Blade Runner 2049, making one compelling movie (within a reasonable running time). The focus of the film is about replicant's ability to love and have children / create life. The film cuts between Deckard's investigations and Officer K's. Footage from the original Blade Runner will be presented in black and white, to differentiate between past and future scenes.

Cutting the best part of twenty minutes was as far as I’d like to go to try to keep a feature length feel. There be aliens ahead, but differently presented...

This cut removes the whole side plot on Canto Bight and focuses on the journey of our main heroes. It further changes the fate of some key characters as well as their motivations and lets them shine in a new light, providing some surprises for viewers of the original film along the way.

'Where Rebels Dare' takes an already decent Star Wars movie and makes it a bit more Star-Warsy. We now open with a traditional crawl and scene wipes are used. The amount of "fan service" is reduced and the plot is reordered.

This is a feature-length cut of the 1940 public domain serial 'Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe', with Larry "Buster" Crabbe, Carol Hughes, Charles Middleton, Frank Shannon, and Anne Gwynne. Despite the dodgy science, improbable escapes, cheesy special effects, sometimes wooden acting, and juvenile story, 'Flash Gordon: Ming Strikes Back' provides a glimpse into how 'Star Wars' may have looked to an audience in 1940.

My main problem with 'Blade Runner 2049' was the insanely slow pace of the editing/cutting. Every line had a vast gap after it and every shot lingered for too long, even if nothing whatsoever was happening in the shot and the camera was motionless. I love long movies but when a film is nearly 3-hours, careless and lax editing is a crime. It's like they assembled all the footage and forgot to go through and tighten everything up like a good editor should. So I was interested in making a cut of this film that focused (almost) entirely on improving the pace of the cuts. The same film/experience but edited properly. An experiment in doing a fanedit that doesn't actually remove anything!

This is the second entry in the "B+ Movie Project", a series of edits that seek to improve on older films, while still maintaining the charm and narrative of the original cut. #2 happens to be another Jack Arnold film, and similarly to Creature from the Black Lagoon, this has had a lot of chaff removed. I’ve tried to strike a balance between promptly setting things up and improving the pacing, while also maintaining some of the atmosphere in the latter half of the film, where the tone starts to become more philosophical.

This edit comes with two audio options:

- B+ Narrative (default) – heavily trimmed narration. Anything that I felt was too pretentious or didn’t add anything is removed and rescored.
- Purist Narrative – lightly trimmed narration. The original voice-over has been preserved as much as possible, with some compromise being made due to the streamlined nature of the edit.

The Hill Valley Chronicles takes the enormously popular Back To The Future Trilogy and adapts it to a 'Quantum Leap' style 30 minute teatime TV show comprising of ten episodes. This new adaptation puts a fresh spin on the trilogy by reshaping the narrative so the parallel events of November 12 1955 in the trilogy collide with each other in action packed fashion.

This edit adds the scene of the T-1000 searching John’s room into the Special Edition. This scene was included in the Special Extended Edition on the official disc, but you also had to watch the alternate ending to see it. Now you don’t.

The original 'Source Code' is a good film, but is let down by a shallow and poorly executed twist ending. "Version 1.2" removes the last minute "life" theme and shifts the emphasis to Captain Colter Stevens receiving dignity and closure before embracing his fate. A handful of other small changes have also been made (see cutlist). [UPDATED to "Version 1.3" on June 2023]

"The Gill-man" is the first entry in the "B+ Movie Project", a series of edits that seek to improve on older B films, but still maintain the charm and narrative of the original cut.

If you found CFTBL boring, you should find this engaging. If you liked CFTBL, you may find yourself liking "Gill-man" even more. It was intentional that nothing immediately obvious should be removed, but that the film would simply come across as better paced and more entertaining as a result of the numerous tiny trims.

Recut the 3 episodes (126minutes) into a single movie (100minutes). I streamlined the narrative by focusing on only two story arcs -- Barry and Ollie. Gone is the Kid Flash and Prof. Stein subplots as they are unnecessary to drive the main plot. Also, significantly cut the Arrow episode so it feels less like an anniversary celebration episode, thus stopping the story dead in its tracks, and more like it is part of the Dominator's plan.

This is a black and white silent edition of the Star Wars saga presented in the form of a old serial. No voices, 4:3 aspect ratio (Pan & Scan), no sound effects, dialogue cards, only John Williams music. This video is Episode VII (55 minutes).

'Man of Steel: A Symbol of Hope' does not try to radically reshape MOS because I liked most of it already. I just wanted to tweak the character of Superman to make him feel more heroic. So if you hated everything about the original MOS, then this isn't the FanFix for you. There are several 10-minute chunks of this edit that are unchanged (aside from the regrade) but when I did change something, I hope it feels significant.

Rise of the Rebellion is a light fanfix of what I consider to be the second best Star Wars movie currently released. This edit differs from others in that it does not drastically reduce the length, narrative focus of the movie or add any John Williams cues. Rise of the Rebellion seeks to restore heroes to the movie by slightly shifting their motivations and actions to produce a story that is filled with brave heroes and less distractions.

David Cronenberg's 'Videodrome' edited to have a tone and style reminiscent of Shinya Tsukamoto's 'Tetsuo: The Iron Man'. The narrative remains broadly the same but is substantially cut down with far less exposition; the video is presented in high-contrast B&W, and the fanedit features a new score. Additionally, some new elements have been added to reinforce Max's diminishing ability to differentiate between reality and television.

This is a simple extended edition of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It includes the deleted subplot featuring Mon Mothma and Bail Organa, and Yoda's arrival on Dagobah.

The biggest difference here, is that a half an hour movie is now trimmed down to a standard TV pilot, where everything the Fox studio clearly had 100% control over is gone, and what we have left is something better paced and hopefully more enjoyable.

Where other edits have changed the sequences surrounding Starkiller Base (Hal9000) or simply attempted to minimize over the top humor (ironman23), this edit leaves the key sequences in place, is more aggressive in it's edits to remove silliness and extends Kylo Ren's parentage reveal as well as gently addressing the issue of R2-D2 being asleep and Snoke's non-Star Warsy looking hologram. This edit also removes the distraction of Luke from the end of the movie.

Ah, The Force Awakens, one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2015. It was praised for it's fun, fast paced adventure, it's emphasis on practical effects and how it brought back subtlety and nuance to Star Wars. Although, many agree that the film isn't without it's flaws, that have become more obvious with each viewing. So, picture the film with an even stronger characterization of Rey, who is a more vulnerable person and doesn't have to one up anyone around her, and where 'most Guardians of the Galaxy' style humor has been greatly minimized.

This edit takes many popular fan edits of Attack of The Clones and combines their best ideas with my own to create one "ultimate cut" of the film. It's mostly the same story you remember but streamlined: with more believable character interactions and a quicker, lighter pace.

This fanedit condenses Star Wars Episode I-III into a single cohesive movie. Jar Jar Binks’ screen time and dialogue is greatly reduced, Young Anakin character is more bearable now with less dialogue, Anakin and Padme's relationship is now more innocent than disturbing, and this edit includes a NEW vision sequence for Anakin as he contemplates joining the Dark Side in the Jedi Council Chambers.

This fanedit turns Prometheus into a direct prequel to Alien (1979) by turning the planet LV 223 into LV 426. It's more "direct to the point".

This fanedit improves Return of the Jedi by mercilessly trimming down the Ewoks, streamlining the third act in addition to a reassortment of the scene order, improving Han's character and chopping out all of the goofy/distracting moments of the movie. These changes hope to make for a satisfying end to the Star Wars trilogy.

The two final installments in the Hunger Games franchise put together to conclude Katniss' story in an epic and emotional finale that defies blockbuster convention. This edit takes out a lot of footage from the original films, but always in a way that allows the story to flow in a consistent way, while preserving the themes that made this franchise so popular.
