This edit takes the HD transfer on the 'Ultimate Director's Cut' blu-ray and goes in and fixes, alters, or replaces every single changed shot to "Reconstruct" the original 'Theatrical Cut' in almost the same HD quality. So we can once again enjoy the film the way it was meant to be seen 1979, without compromising on visual quality.

The Willie Scott edition is a fanedit with a stronger female lead (removing excessive screaming and whining) and fewer distractions that pull the viewer out of the story (removing badly-dated special effects). Care was taken to cut as little as possible to achieve these goals. Where possible, excessive screams were silenced without cutting frames.

Just wanted to make this movie a little more fast paced and with a kick ass soundtrack.

Think of this one as the "Page One Edit", named so because we get to find out just what "page one" and that whole deal with the leaf was all about before the episode ends, rather than wait for a filler pre-titles when you reach Rings of Akaten.

Die Hard is the pinnacle of action movie goodness in my opinion and cannot be improved upon as its completely perfect as it is. However as its one of my favourite films I was intrigued whether I could put a different spin on it to give it some fresh appeal. It struck me that as McClane spends nearly the entire runtime of the movie apart from all the other protagonists I could maybe use splitscreen to give the impression of multiple events taking place at once. Thus the idea for Die Hard 'til Midnight was born, and the edit evolved as a Die Hard/24 style (semi) real-time thriller.

A 45-minute trim of the 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special The Snowmen.

Christmas is coming, and if the Great Intelligence has his way, so is eternal winter. Sentient and savage snow is descending, eager to consume us all, can The Doctor, the Paternoster Gang, and nanny Clara save a family from the merciless lady of the lake?

Recut the 3 episodes (126minutes) into a single movie (100minutes). I streamlined the narrative by focusing on only two story arcs -- Barry and Ollie. Gone is the Kid Flash and Prof. Stein subplots as they are unnecessary to drive the main plot. Also, significantly cut the Arrow episode so it feels less like an anniversary celebration episode, thus stopping the story dead in its tracks, and more like it is part of the Dominator's plan.

The edit removes the bookends of the treasure hunt, this edit is purely 1912. It cuts down on the Rose/Jack name calling, and Jack egging Rose on so much. Him calling her stupid is removed. Some deleted scenes are added to add depth where Old Rose voice over has been removed, and there is a newly constructed ending.

This is an attempt to take the two parter Sarah Jane Adventures serial "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith" and turn it into one of the 2009 Doctor Who specials for outgoing Doctor David Tennant.

The Goblet of Fire needs a much more cohesive tone to follow along with the rest, as the tone of the fourth movie is in many ways quite different from the rest of the series - not just in score and pacing, but in visual style and tone.

I also noticed how Goblet of Fire Director, Mike Newell, tried to get back in some of all the warm, golden, cozy colors of Columbus' entries, and when listening in on the Commentary Track I found it odd how these choices came into play. Prisoner of Azkaban had a silver/brown color palette to it that looked very lived-in and real, and then suddenly Mike Newell decided to throw all of that away - despite all the critical acclaim for the visual style of the Prisoner of Azkaban, because he always liked the warm tone of the Columbus' movies, yet he continued with the visual presentation (Hogwarts tracking shots and movie style editing) created by Alfonso in PoA.

The entire movie is tonally and stylistically confusing, and that was the most important thing for me to fix - along with franchise continuity.

So, after my first edit, The Return of Sherlock and a month of experience, I have decided to make the sequel. I feel that this edit focuses on Sherlock, John, and of course Mary.

This edit removes the gorilla from the island and restores the original widescreen presentation as well as adding a custom 5.1 surround track.

For starters, kidjupiter92 and I are going to hope to collaborate to a unified continuity canon with no sentinels, yet no time travel and we hope we can incorporate The Wolverine (Kuzuri) and the original trilogy in with the new movies without much confusion. So, this will be the official first installment of this new canon.

With that out of the way, let's get started. Among many changes, this is focused on Erik. So, we only meet a character Erik meets them or is connected to someone Erik knows like Moira is connected to Shaw and in turn Erik. Darwin's death and Angel's switch (it seems she was always with Shaw) will be cut.

Where other edits have changed the sequences surrounding Starkiller Base (Hal9000) or simply attempted to minimize over the top humor (ironman23), this edit leaves the key sequences in place, is more aggressive in it's edits to remove silliness and extends Kylo Ren's parentage reveal as well as gently addressing the issue of R2-D2 being asleep and Snoke's non-Star Warsy looking hologram. This edit also removes the distraction of Luke from the end of the movie.

Star Wars with a rocking soundtrack! Heavy Star Wars takes the existing action and adventure, trimming away unnecessary story/action/bad acting, and replaces the soundtrack with Rock music!

Ah, The Force Awakens, one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2015. It was praised for it's fun, fast paced adventure, it's emphasis on practical effects and how it brought back subtlety and nuance to Star Wars. Although, many agree that the film isn't without it's flaws, that have become more obvious with each viewing. So, picture the film with an even stronger characterization of Rey, who is a more vulnerable person and doesn't have to one up anyone around her, and where 'most Guardians of the Galaxy' style humor has been greatly minimized.

'No Justice' refocuses "Batman v. Superman" on its central conflict between Man and God. All aspects of its 'Dawn of Justice' subtitle are excluded: Wonder Woman, the Justice League, Doomsday, Darkseid and the Kryptonian ship. These omissions create a more coherent and accessible story, intended for a wider audience.

'The Legend of the Magnificent Seven' is a fanedit of Antoine Fuqua's reimagined vision of the western classic based on Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai'. In this legendary retelling, seven gunslingers that consist of a bounty hunter, a gambler, an outlaw, a sharpshooter, an assassin, a native warrior and a tracker come together to aide a small town from being overrun by the ruthless corporate mogul Bartholomew Bogue. What starts out as just a job prospect for these men turns into something more meaningful as they discover what they have inside themselves to make them legends.

Based on "The Hobbit: Fire and Water" edit with some alternative cuts, different dynamic between Legolas-Kili-Tauriel and a lot less Laketown. Like "Fire and Water", this edit also aims not to show connection between Sauron and Bilbo's ring. This edit is followed by "The Hobbit: Battle for the Lonely Mountain".

This fanedit improves Return of the Jedi by mercilessly trimming down the Ewoks, streamlining the third act in addition to a reassortment of the scene order, improving Han's character and chopping out all of the goofy/distracting moments of the movie. These changes hope to make for a satisfying end to the Star Wars trilogy.

When taking on a literal behemoth like this film, with all the good and bad coming in it's massive nostalgia package, doing a fan edit claiming you wanna fix the more underlying flaws that drag the quality down is no easy task. Especially with the kind of flaws that include; an overly long run time that tends to drags at points, a bland color palette that makes the film look ugly and sickly, and characters that make down right stupid and even life threatening decisions to those around them. So, with all of that said, a lot of time and effort had to be put into this, as well as doing research to find others similar opinions (special shout out to the Nostalgia Critic for his take, points and arguments that really helped me out!) to create a worthy Jurassic Park sequel that more people can enjoy.

There and Back again turns the three films into two volumes which focuses on Bilbo's adventure, but in context of Thorin's journey as well. Their stories are intertwined so this edit seeks to strip away as many elements as possible that interfere with their respective stories. This is not a 'book' cut that seeks to conform to the novel, so it maintains many of the added story elements that help it serve as a prequel or bridge to Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, but they are reduced and tightened up so as to not interfere with the primary focus of Bilbo's journey.

Steve Rogers is transformed into Captain America, the star-spangled super soldier who must save the world from the mad Red Skull, leader of the Nazi deep science division Hydra.

'Ghostbusters (2016)' recut to remove 75% of the improv jokes, so the film stays on script and on character. Less is more... less jokes... more funny.

This edit is a little under three hours. The edit is missing all of the superfluous material from the trilogy. The edit also works as a true standalone movie and prequel that does not cash in on any Lord of the Rings references that a first time viewer — given he is watching these movies in chronological order — would not know about.
This means no old Bilbo, no Sauron, no Legolas, a less menacing Ring, and no Frodo.
Needless to say there is also no love triangle.

It's becoming more and more clear that "Star Trek: Into Darkness" has become quite the divisive film-is it good, action packed fun, or is it a shameless remake of the greatest film in the franchise? After repeated viewings (like most people I know) the film , for me personally, has landed right square in the middle. It's still well acted, shot, and directed, even with the many problems with the script and how it is a massive retread of "WoK" as well as the 2009 prequel. What I had in mind, was to give this film a fresh new look in re-orderings, the removal of as many references and lip service snippets, and try to fix most of the annoying character flaws the script had.

I liked 'Star Trek Into Darkness' a lot but from the first viewing I could see the flaws and could see ways to fix them. So this is an attempt to create my ideal version, a version that brings out the best of what was always there. The "plot holes" remain (Removing them would be like trying to make a bowl, out of a sieve) but the emotional impact and character motivations are now what I think they should have been.

After a secret mission in Mexico City, James Bond has one more loose end to tie up.

Star Wars, the prodigal son of The Hidden Fortress, comes home to Papa. Through the music of John Williams and numerous subtitle changes, The Hidden Fortress is transformed into a Star Wars experience.

I have cut over half of the cumulative running time of the films. What was once a bloated, 542-minute trilogy is now a more digestible 247-minute epic. In general, I’ve tried to keep the spirit of the book intact by removing unnecessary subplots, characters, ridiculous action scenes, and so on.

The Killing Joke is one of the most widely popular Joker stories and has been referenced by both Tim Burton and Heath Ledger in how those versions of the Joker were brought to life. The story sees the Joker try to carry out one of his most devious plots, all to make a point that it takes only one bad day for a person to snap. While the Joker carries out his nefarious plot, Batman struggles with the idea that he and his arch-nemesis are locked in a battle that will ultimately lead to one of their deaths.

'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (Extended Edition)' adds 15 minutes of new material, which complements various scenes to give more information about this world of ships, pirates and adventures. We get to see more funny moments, a whole new restored dice game between Will Turner and Davy Jones, the story behind Isla Cruces and an alternate ending.

'Man of Tomorrow' is a narrative experiment that combines Man of Steel and Batman V. Superman into one film. The goal was to use material from both films to form a single, feature-length, 3-act structure that focuses on Superman.

It's the same Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens you fell in love with, only restructured slightly so that Starkiller Base does not fire until close to the end of the film. During the battle over Starkiller Base, the stakes are no longer protecting the Resistance base, but preventing the destruction of the Republic Capitol. Even though they destroy the First Order's superweapon, they fail to do so in time to save the day.

'Jurassic World' is a film regarded by many as a fun popcorn flick, but one with contrivances that keep it from being anything more than what it is. I want to fix that!
