By cutting out scenes that are out of character and using alternant or deleted material form the movie I wanted to give this movie a different feel. I also rescored scenes with different music to recontextualize or emphasize different moments in the movie.

In this version Flint Marko is no longer the killer of Peter’s uncle, a lot of the humour has also been removed. Peter’s fall to the darkside is no longer brought about through guilt but through his ego and new found self importance.
This version gives more focus to the journeys of Peter and Harry and how both find redemption for themselves.

TASM2: Spark of Life goes far to re-edit action sequences with new and extended shots to allow a clearer perception of events, cut a lot of the unimportant subplots out (Parker Parents, Aunt May, Oscorp/Rhino/Sinister 6, Plane Crash, etc.), adding portions of deleted scenes back in, refocusing the story on whats important, and overall trying to bring some closure to a duology that tried to be a franchise.

In early 2000, Sam Raimi was approached by Columbia Pictures to direct and produce a TV Pilot for a new series based on the popular Marvel comic book character Spider-Man. After a series of script drafts, the pilot was cast with a few big names and filmed in late 2001. Ultimately, the pilot was passed on and locked away in Columbia's vaults, and was not released in any form officially, but a VHS tape was passed around after the production was complete, in the form of low-generation bootleg VHS tapes.

The Enemy WIthin cuts over 20 minutes from the film, and adds back a selection of deleted scenes from the trailers as well as the official Editor's Cut, and trims various lines and subplots. Sandman is no longer Uncle Ben's killer, cheesy scenes and moments are gone, creating a much tighter and potentially darker film.

The Elemental Expansion Edition aims to create the longest possible cut with footage taken from trailers, TV Spots and the Blu-Ray bonus scenes.

This cut adds 11 new scenes, shots and lines, expanding the runtime with 7 new minutes of footage, as well as restructing the ending of the film for a more fluid finale, with the mid-credits now being attached to the rest of the film.

The 1994 Spider-Man animated series three-parter “The Alien Costume” is recut to play as a single feature. Production errors, poor animation and weak writing are also removed. It’s a classic Spidey story, and it’s even better than you remember!

The untold story concludes with Spider-Man's continuing struggles to protect New York City and those he loves.

This Fan Edit will combine Marc Webb's duology to show you the ultimate Spider-Man stand alone origin story. Using my original ideas from my first Spider-Man fan edit, The Organic Eggs Edition, we will explore Peter Parker's parent's story and the introduction of Harry Osborn as Peter's friend, as it always should have been, along with Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.

Taking just the necessary footage from the second movie, and making the necessary cuts, to give this Spider-Man story, not only a perfect closure, but to modify it in a way so it approximates the spirit and characters from the comics. Cuts and deleted scenes were included in this Fan Edit that help character development and fills some plot holes.

I began this project because I actually liked a lot The Amazing Spider-Man when it was released back in 2012, but it was not free of errors. So basically, I did this edit because I wanted to improve something that was by it's own very solid.

I am combining the origin story from the 1st film with the villain from the 2nd film (Doc Ock) and any scene from the 3rd on that could be useful to make a new story mostly on Peter and his journey to become a hero, simplifying the awful romance with Mary-Jane to the very basics and essentials, removing all useless side characters, getting rid of some side-plots and making it a little more serious by removing many of the stupid campy stuff from the first 2 movies.

An all-new version of the film, Peter’s descent into the dark side is more established and compromising than ever before. Eleven minutes were cut and many subtle changes to the film were made to bring it into a new light, making Peter’s morally questioning journey darker, creepier and psychologically challenging.

Watch the trilogy united to one movie. I wanted to do something in the vein of a Marvel-style action packed comic book using all of the pre-existing action footage and minimizing the many story-lines from the films to very specific moments that only serve to move the plot forward. This is an action packed Spider-Man thrill ride meant for the true fanboys!
