Even though I appreciated Mandys style and revenge story, I found it to be unnecessarily long for the genre and a little meandering especially in the first hour.

Anchorman 2, but funny. And 36 minutes shorter.

Crafted using a mixture of the Theatrical, Unrated, Super-Sized Version, and blu-ray supplemental material, the aim of this edit was to create a funnier, tighter film worthy of being a successor to the first Anchorman. Entire subplots have been removed, and jokes have been pulled from all commercially available material, resulting in a much more focused film and, in my opinion at least, a much funnier one as well.

The first half of BABYLON 5’s season 5 is dominated by the telepath story arc Phoenix Rising, where Lyta develops from a direction-less character on the periphery to a focused
key character. It's more enjoyable by making Byron less pretentious and a little less prominent. He is a catalyst for Lyta rather than a driving force in his own right. Other storylines in these episodes are unchanged.

Story structure remains essentially the same as the original 3 part tv movie. A few continuity corrections. The only significant edit/cut is the conversation between Adama and Apollo about going down to Caprica. Otherwise, the biggest changes are FX enhancement to many scenes (eg. adding planets to the background), replacing dodgy FX shots (eg. Cylon Basestar descending on Carrillon) or background mattes and making some of the battle sequences less repetitive, while trying to maintain the visual look of the original without going overboard with CGI.

Here is G'Kar's last tale. His performance is thoroughly enjoyable. As always. Originally much in Legend of the Rangers detracted from G'Kar's adventure. Not anymore. Now you can enjoy your favorite Narn in a solid story of exploration, intrigue, and humor.

Revenge of the Sith: Rebalanced is a fan edit of Episode III that sets out to attain the following goals:

1. Keep the best parts while trimming substantial amounts of droid slapstick, exposition, and bloated editing.

2. Shift Anakin's fall to the dark side away from Padmé, and toward Palpatine.

3. Learn from existing edits, use the best of their ideas, and fine-tune each and every scene.

4. Make as seamless and professional an edit as possible. So many fan edits have great ideas, but you can tell if the music is a little uneven, or if the rhythm of a sequence gets off balance. I wanted to create a version that you could watch without knowing anything changed. If an edit, however ideal, resulted in a noticeable glitch, it had to go.

I want to focus on the story of the Titanic in 1912 - not the additional story set to 1997, and the sinking of the ship. I want to focus on the humanity. I want to focus on the brutality. And I want to put the tragedy in focus. I want us to see how the people - not just Jack and Rose, dealt with the disaster, and how the rich felt for the poor, and how the poor felt for the rich. There is so much kindness and humanity along with the brutality of this story, and much of it is in the narrative already - but overshadowed by the focus on Jack and Rose. And much of it is in the deleted scenes already.

We explore one possible road to mankind's first encounter with extraterrestial life. Curiosity and the scientific method clash with fear, religion, and greed. Along the way everyone's beliefs are tested. The film is a tribute to Carl Sagan who spent his life popularizing scientific inquiry, who tirelessly championed the search for extraterrestial life, and who stimulated the awe and sense of wonder in all of us. The edit is about Dr. Arroway's personal journey more than mankind's journey. Her perseverance against the odds and despite resistance. Palmer Joss, the alien, and Mr. Kitz are less frustrating, and the last quarter of the film is greatly improved. As epilogue Dr. Sagan himself talks about Contact, science, and religion (audio excerpt from 1985 Studs Terkel interview).

This cut removes Azog as the main villain from the story. The side quests are also gone and the main focus remains on Bilbo's adventure. In addition most of the over-the-top action, violence and silly moments are gone, while still providing a functioning narrative.

This is a conservative fan edit that I feel greatly improves the tone and watching experience by removing a lot of the corny jokes and a few cheesy lines, and changing the color grade a bit so it isn't so oversaturated.

The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe but this time with less jokes and possibly even less in the nearby future.

This edit removes all references to Bond being old. Instead, he is simply old-fashioned and off his game due to injury. Additionally, a new gun barrel sequence opens the movie, two scenes are rescored, and the Roger Moore-esque casino brawl is removed, among other changes.

This uses The Assembly Cut as it's base and introduces Theatrical Cut elements that I have a preference for. I also attempt to clean up the colour and contrast imbalances in certain composite shots. I also add extra FX for dramatic effect in places, to improve visually on the original or to technically facilitate differences in lighting between the 2 versions when using footage for the same scenes.

Inspired partially by a scene from the ending of the Superman II redux by booshman, this "fourth option" edit allows you to view the Donner cut of Superman II in almost it's unaltered entirety with yet another alternative outcome, one that does not include the time travel, amnesia kiss, or even the heartbreak of a Lois/Clark break-up.

BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER is a light edit. We see more of King T'Chaka and his brother early on, establishing the old king as a less idealized character. A glimpse of young T’Challa as contrast to Erik’s childhood. The weakest CGI shots are trimmed from the rhinos in battle and the climax in the mine. T'Challa at the United Nations is extended and placed before his trip to Oakland, giving it the weight it deserves.

Rekindled is a mostly conservative edit that attempts to improve The Last Jedi experience by trimming or removing some of the weaker sections. Canto Bight has been greatly condensed, Leia's spacewalk removed, and Rose no longer crashes into Poe, to name a few changes. It is always difficult to find the right balance between humor and drama, but this cut hopes to retain the lighthearted spirit of Star Wars while removing parts that distract from the story.

A dome, a doofus, an (annoyed grunt), experience Homer to the Max in this shortened take on the Simpsons movie.

This edit tightens up some narrative dialogue here and there and trims off some excess shots, all for being too on the nose essentially, but isn't too heavy handed with it as Wallace's monologues remain in full - If only to provide a deeper psychological framing for Luv's own psychotic tendencies. Where it is heavy handed is in the complete removal of the character Mariette. She is still technically present in one or two places, but cropped out and pushed back into the the periphery as an extra. This edit also re grades the colour of the film to that of a more neutral palette and pulls the fogged in stylized highlights back out to a realistic luminescence.

The third and final installment of my “Arkenstone” edit trilogy. Like before, I’ve tried to keep the focus as much as possible on Bilbo, Thorin and Gandalf, while still giving the various side characters their moments to shine, without drawing attention away from the main story.

The theatrical cut was full of lines which were very on the nose. Additionally, there was a subplot, involving Motoko's mother, that went nowhere. These issues have been addressed in the Lean & Mean cut. Moreover the beginning of the movie was re-edited to mimic the way the original animated movie starts. To this purpose, the credits scene was rescored using Kenji Kaway new rendition of the original main theme. Scenes from the very beginning of the movie have been used to create a flashback sequence that now appears much later. Multiple scenes where shortened, lines of dialogues were either deleted or altered or used in different contexts. The cemetery scene was restored to its original state and purpose. As far as I can tell, in the theatrical cut it was sliced in 2 to accomodate for the character of Motoko's mother, which I presumed was added at a later time to address the whitewashing controversy and to make up for the deleted scenes which included the character of Paz.

When a villain cold to the touch and a woman who's kiss is lethal to the touch cross paths with Batman and Robin, emotions flare and tension heats up. Will the dynamic duo go into meltdown?

The arc reactor has triggered an arms race and is poisoning Tony Stark. Filled with self-doubt and alcohol, Stark must rise above his inner demons to contain the arms race, to overcome his enemies, and to find a cure.

Vanko is a determined but minor villain who never rises to Stark's level. Hammer, though naive, is more ruthless in his thirst for power. I imagine him in a future story as enabler for villains. And Pepper mostly stands by her man instead of the angry on-again-off-again relationship. Iron Man 2 introduces Black Widow and War Machine, and sets the stage for the Avengers movie.

With friends like these, who needs enemies? This is the big AVENGERS battle you've been waiting for, a CIVIL WAR of Team IRON MAN versus team CAPTAIN AMERICA!

When the Avengers fight villains, things break and people get hurt. Do our heroes share the blame? Should, and can, they be held accountable? Many politicians think so and Tony Stark agrees.

The Sokovia Accords are the United Nations' response to the tragedies in New York, Sokovia, Korea, London, Washington DC, and Lagos. This will enforce registration and formal training of the super-human community, and establish accountability for their actions and operations around the globe.

Captain America disagrees. Steve Rogers will not relinquish his freedom to choose, nor hide his responsibility behind politicians' decisions. The disagreement is violently forced to a conclusion when Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, seems to bomb a U.N. meeting that kills the king of Wakanda. The Avengers must choose between loyalty to the law or loyalty to their friends.

Tony and Steve take a stand on conflicting principles. Tense and divided, everyone is distracted: Tony by people's pain and death he is (in-)directly responsible for, Steve by the explosive reappearance of Bucky, Black Panther by the death of his father, and Vision by Scarlet Witch. Nobody listens, culminating in a giant, spectacular battle of Avengers versus Avengers.

My edit of Halloween (2018) aims to tighten up the pacing while eliminating some of the more polarizing elements of the film like Sartain wearing Michael's mask. I also made a point to eliminate some of the more cringeworthy lines throughout when possible and added in a deleted scene to help with a bit of character development. Doesn't reinvent the wheel but also not a minor edit that took an hour to do.

The 1978 Edit really aims to take Rob Zombie's Halloween and make it closer in tone to its predecessor. The entire white trash family angle is gone, Michael never speaks as a child, and both the gore and language have really been toned down. The pacing is very lean and tight. Almost the entire movie has been rescored with a lot of music coming from the soundtrack to Halloween 2018.

I've worked out a way of having Han live throughout the entire movie, and he accompanies Rey on her search for Luke at the end.

Other changes so far include

- Leia sensing the Starkiller's attack on the republic
- R2 awakens when BB8 first finds him
- No lightsaber duel with Kylo, Rei, or Finn.
- Planets Daquar and Tokondana are now the same world
- Han and Chewie's explosives bring down the shields (special credit to Last Impressions for this idea)

'Thunderball' is a spectacular Bond movie that needs more focus, and less water. The fanedit 'Thunderball: The Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Cut' cuts nine minutes of water and nine more to streamline the story and to make Bond's steam-room romp consensual..

Enjoy the Christmas spirit with a fanedit of the modern movie adaptation of the beloved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl! Faneditor theryaney has made a few changes to this family movie that includes a lengthy colour-correction of the film that portrays snow more realistically, the removal of Willy Wonka's flashbacks and the entire subplot involving his childhood, and also an ending closer to the original book.

Order of the Phoenix is actually one of my favorite HP movies, alongside Prisoner of Azkaban. The movie is fast-paced, often intense, and it has big stakes for our characters. I think the movie’s biggest flaw is its feeling of complete dissonence from the rest of the series, feeling much less like a Harry Potter movie and much more like a drama/thriller piece. Therefore, my biggest priority has been to establish a greater connection between this and the rest of the series - including remastered versions (by myself) for Voldemort’s Theme, A Window to the Past, Hogwart’s Theme, Neville’s (upcoming DH) theme, Gilderoy Lockhart’s Theme (now more of a Dark Arts Class theme), Quidditch Theme and more.

The movie has also been color graded to remove the heavy reliance on blue, as well inclusion of two deleted scenes, removal of Filch as an idiot and a lot of new SFX and even new scenes.

This edit includes various visual and audio elements from all released versions of Blade Runner in an attempt to make it the best available presentation with a few narrative edits for personal preference. Most notable inclusions are the technical updates from The Final Cut, with the visual elements re-graded to match the legacy colour tones of the previous releases - and particular attention being paid to literally preserving the original portions of the legacy frames as well as grading the changes where masking was appropriate. The film's narrative follows more closely the Workprint and tacitly rejects Ridley Scott's attempts to render the human/replicant philosophical analogue as effectively superficial. This version takes out any connection to references made by Scott in interviews and indeed the Director's Cut relating to Deckard's origins. Instead this film is content to literally study/contrast the philosophical state of all the humanity on display or lack thereof from all participants.

It's 2017, and Peter Capaldi's time as The Doctor is up. Determined to perform one last defiant act of kindness, the good man makes his journey into night battling the forces of the Mondassian Cybermen, a battle which brings him to death's door. On the brink of death he is saved by his loyal companion Bill Potts and brought to the safety of the TARDIS. Bill heads off on her own journey, leaving The Doctor to experience the miracle of the time lords...

...Or rather would have if Chris Chibnall hadn't been a sodding diva and opted not to start his run with a christmas special, forcing Steven Moffat to helm one more special which just about disgraced and sullied the memory of William Hartnell, undermined the conclusion to Bill's story and dragged out a regeneration with a speech that seemingly went on forever before Capaldi let the part go.

Batman: The Man Who Laughs tries to amplify the strengths of The Dark Knight while omitting some of its weaknesses. Pacing is tightened up, some scenes are restructured, rescored, reordered, or omitted altogether. Lines of dialogue and humor that seemed out of place omitted as well. I usually fanedit awful movies. Here I wanted to take a very good movie and make it the best it could be (IMO).

The 'Entirely Respectable Edition' seeks to remove all material that is silly, overplayed, misjudged, overly comical, ridiculous and generally inconsistent with the more serious tone established in the earlier 'Lord of the Rings' Trilogy. It is not a radical restructure, or a two-film cut and does not set out to streamline narrative, quicken pacing, or remove characters and plot-threads. The more time we spend in Middle Earth the better, I just want Middle Earth to be a more sensible place while we're there.

1) 13 episodes instead of 18.
2) Marginalize or exclude new "Not twin peaks characters".
3) Bring the colors to the original, golden filmic experience, simulating the fujifilm used in the first two seasons (and not the flat digital arrialexa used for the third).
4) Rescoring, using Soundtracks from the original show (Total music added: 2h.18m).
5) Not anymore "green glove", and so different killing of Bob.
6) Less digital old style Computer graphics.

'Skyfall: The Past Haunts Us' trims the endless jabs at Bond and M for their long service. It removes the implausible Tube derailment, and tightens the final battle.

Knowing how many different takes there are on The Phantom Menace - and has been since 1999 (!), what stood out for me very clear since the beginning, apart from a bunch of what I thought were brilliant ideas that could work - was to make it different. Not make it a Fanedit, but a FanFix - more of a remake, if you will. Only then could it actually be worth many years of my time.

I grew up with the love of Star Wars and the excitement around The Phantom Menace and the prequel trilogy, but I never felt the magic stay with me for The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones (and to a degree RotS as well) as it did with the Original Trilogy. This was the red herring that made me interested in the creation and intellectual process behind the making of TPM, that made me realize the lost potential and go for a search on how to make it work. And thus The Ancient Lore was born.

HALLOWEEN H20 was released in 1998 and falls right in the post-SCREAM slasher "renaissance". Therefore, while the concept and performances of H20 are stellar, the cinematography, editing and music were all influenced somewhat negatively by the mega-hit that was Wes Cravens's 1996 movie. Also, studio interference resulted in a music score that was mostly scrapped at the last minute and replaced. A similar thing happened with the mask chosen by the filmmakers. These changes permeate the original movie and make it feel disjointed and lacking identity.

My edit attempts to fix these issues by trying to get out of SCREAM's shadow and making the movie feel more like a thematic and stylistic successor to the first two movies in the franchise.

Halloween 5 was made just a year after the impressive Halloween 4, and the fact that the script was unfinished before filming began is just one contributing factor to the feeling that the whole film feels rushed and somewhat underdeveloped. Having said that, there are some good scenes in the film, particularly involving Dr Loomis and Jamie Lloyd, and it boasts a finale well worth sticking around for. This fanedit will attempt to streamline, and refocus the film to be about the three central characters - Loomis, Myers and Jamie - redundant scenes and characters will be heavily trimmed or totally excised.

Halloween: 10 Years of Terror tells a complete version of the Michael Myers story in a condensed fashion. Following his original massacre in 1978 and then his return in 1988, the edit simply tries to show that whether in one form or another, evil never truly dies.

As the title suggests, this edit removes all the unnecessary bloat that was added to the trilogy. Clocking in at just over five hours, this film aims to be as close as possible to what Jackson would've created in the originally planned two-part saga.

Michael Newman is a workaholic architect finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. But not everything lasts forever as Michael is about to find out, when the remote control begins to malfunction, causing Michael to deal with the consequences.

Click: Fast Forward is an edit that aims to fast forward through all the “Sanderisms” that plague Adam Sandler’s films and subsequently this one. Eleven minutes of bad and unfunny jokes, writing, acting has been cut from the film, presenting a more focused story with real heart and stakes.

The Room has always provided a good time for those who are wiling to sit through it. But for those who don't want to experience 3 consecutive sex scenes in the first 3o minutes, I have cut all sections of this movie that could deemed 'NSFW'. So this cut is less focused on 'fixing' The Room, and more on making it ok to watch with friends and family. This isn't a total 'PG' cut, (there is still plenty of swearing, and the plot, however little there is, is still focused on infidelity), just a minor re-tooling to make it more approachable for those who want to join in on the fun.

I have recut the 2008 Cloverfield so the characters don’t seem so self centered, removed many cringe scenes (‘You know who Superman is?’) and removing all the flashback footage to create a more focused and tightened story.

This edit aims to eradicate the paternal cause of some questionable narrative that essentially removed the viewer from the fantasy of adventure and also other complaints I had with the level of schlock falling lower than was necessary. It also aims to strike a balance for those that didn’t mind or could live with certain things like cgi bugs or iconic atomic silhouettes... Cutting the best part of twenty minutes was as far as I’d like to go to try to keep a feature length feel. There be aliens ahead, but differently presented...

If you know the Frozen backstory inside out then this version might not be for you. This version is also not ideal for young kids as they may not enjoy flashbacks. But if you have never seen Frozen or forgotten most of the plot (or wanted to watch it with a friend that hasn’t seen it yet) then I think you might find this version somewhat more powerful than the original.

This cut removes the whole side plot on Canto Bight and focuses on the journey of our main heroes. It further changes the fate of some key characters as well as their motivations and lets them shine in a new light, providing some surprises for viewers of the original film along the way.

A streamlined version of the original movie, with snappier dialogue and action but no major scenes removed. The same film you remember, yet half an hour shorter.

Just like Thor's haircut, this edit trims off the more over-the-top elements and leaves us with a cleaner, more presentable movie.

A new edit of The Hobbit, two years in the making, inspired by the original two-film script. The first film, The Gathering of the Clouds, tells the story of Bilbo, who is whisked away on an adventure to save the homeland of a band of thirteen dwarves by Gandalf the wizard. During his travels Bilbo discovers his own resourcefulness and courage, as a plot unfolds that might affect all the lands of Middle-Earth.

The Second film, There and Back Again, sees Bilbo and his companions tested as their adventure takes an unwelcome turn. Their quest becomes entangled in a battle for the fate of Middle-Earth. And yet, the greatest dangers may lie within. This high quality edit provides a more focused telling of the classic story, with completely restructured and even partially rewritten plot lines. It is heavily inspired by Tolkien lore. Each film has a clear beginning, middle, and end, both in plot lines and character arcs. The tone is more similar to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and it's color correction has been completely redone to create a visually consistent, five part saga.
