'The Return of Don Tracy' is a side-by-side "Remix" of 1949's 'Criss Cross' and Soderbergh's own 1995 remake 'The Underneath', set to a new Pop soundtrack.

All the extra scenes have been color-corrected, re-edited and re-scored to make the transitions as seamless as possible. The end credits have also been completely redone. With over 18 mn. of added footage, this Extended Integral Cut intends to deliver a more complete and coherent version than the European cut, the director's cut or the original cut of the film.

Note that this blu-ray presents the film in SD due to its length and mostly to the fact that the only HD release of this film, from which most of the footage could have been lifted for this cut, presents the film with a revisited color scheme and an overall terrible quality. The best source to be used was therefore the excellent 2000 Italian DVD box set of the film [presenting the extended cut with its original colors/tints, as well as deleted scenes and many clips used for this ext. cut].

A brand new audio mix has been created, using various sources (the original laserdisc release, the 2016 blu-ray, the 2000 DVD set). This unofficial blu-ray also includes over an hour of bonus footage, some completely unseen before.

With over 13 mn. of added footage, this Integral Cut intends to deliver a more complete and coherent version than the European cut, the director's cut or the Cabal cut of the film. This is a "transitionary" cut while waiting for the Swedish Cinemasochist's fan-edit, which promises to be something to be remembered for all Barker fans.

I love the original Star Wars trilogy (minus the later "special-edition"-changes), but I never could get into the prequels. The story of how Anakin became Darth Vader and how the sith could turn the republic into an empire is of some interest and has its value, but how it was told left me disappointed. For one I felt that three movies was just too much, many scenes felt superflous to me, some characters were downright unbearable, too much pointless action that diminished the power of the important action scenes...

But most importantly Hayden Christensen's Anakin was arrogant and unsympathetic from the get-go, which made me not care for his eventual downfall. With this edit, I attempt to salvage the interesting aspects of the prequels and to improve character motivations and development and to create a story arc that makes sense as a single movie.

This is a Double Feature cut to approx 60/70 minutes to get the action on top.

Cuts are numerous throughout, but the main narrative change is that Captain Jack Sparrow no longer dies or needs rescuing from Davey Jones Locker. This one altered story beat removed the downing of the Pearl, Singapore, and the Locker itself. Along with other cuts to tone down some of the sillier moments, Heart of the Maelstrom has become a rip roaring ride across the Caribbean.

This fanedit has a completely new opening, and deleted scenes have been re-intergrated from the 4-disc Blu-ray set. All new material has been color corrected, scored, and VFX added to the deleted scenes that were originally not finished in post-production.

This edition removes and adds many things, giving some much needed character motivation/development, and a much stronger narrative that the original theatrical cut was lacking.
