Brief Synopsis:
My goal was to make a miniseries edit that didn't simply feel like a chopped up version of the movies. Overall this worked surprisingly well without too much editing, though the Return of the King had to have some extra reordering of scenes to make it work.

The vast majority of each movie is retained, though I changed a handful of things that I thought weren't so well done in the movies (Bridge collapse leaning, Frodo and Sam "rock" cloak at the Black Gate, etc). I cut a few other scenes that were from the extended editions that I felt did not add to the movies at all (extra Gimli humor, Merry and Pippin drinking water to get taller, etc). And lastly, I rearranged some scenes to help the pacing of each episode. With the new format this was needed, mainly in the Return of the King. I added chapter titles to every episode and they appear within the first 10 minutes matching how the original movies did it, I kept the short 45 second intro credits and "Lord of the Rings" Title sequence for each episode, and then added a shortened 60 second credit sequence for each episode.

Brief Synopsis:
I love the Hunger Games books, and I thought the movies were well done adaptations, but there were some aspects I thought could be trimmed and the pacing of the final movies improved. Originally I was going to leave the first two movies alone and just work on the last one, but earlier this year I watched MisterCooper's fantastic edit of the Hunger Games movies into an 8 episode miniseries. Because movies 2-4 were so connected the miniseries treatment worked really well. Mine is heavily inspired by his edit so please check out his if you're interested!

I don't want this to sound like I am bashing MisterCooper's edit because I really enjoyed it and mine is heavily inspired by his. But I did have some things I wanted to change, mainly around pacing, a couple story choices, and the music. Most of his series worked really well for me, but some of the pacing didn't feel right, such as starting his third episode with the last few minutes in the arena from the first movie. It felt anticlimactic to me to resolve the first movie in the initial ten minutes of that episode. His Catching Fire arena episode also ended up being a lot longer than the rest of his episodes, and while that isn't inherently bad I wanted to find a way to make the episode lengths more similar across the board. I also wanted some different story and music choices, such as my edit getting rid of most of the Gale romance from the latter movies as I thought it wasn't well done and didn't add much, and then keeping more of the original music from the series.

Brief Synopsis:
I've always loved the Harry Potter books, but the movies have been pretty hit or miss for me. I completely love what they have made, but there are many scenes of poor acting, or bad character choices that are completely fixable.

My main goals overall:
- Create light edits that don't try to reimagine or create anything new, but rather just enhance the original movies
- Remove small annoyances and some poor performances (Harry shushing Ron, Barty Crouch Jr tongue flicks, dumbing down Hagrid, etc)
- Retain as much world building as possible (Clock in the Weasley's home, monster roar at housekeeping in PoA, etc)
- Keep the original music to their own movies, except for a few rare occasions
- Tighten up action wherever I could

Goals for Deathly Hallows p2:
- Incorporate a select few deleted scenes
- Change young Lily's eyes to blue
- Fix bad writing and acting wherever possible

Goals for the Prisoner of Azkaban:
- This is my favorite movie and will probably have the least changes
- Trim some of the poor performances (Hermione's laughing, some of Harry's acting)
- Cut out some of the one liners and poorly written lines and scenes (Neville's "I'm okay" joke, Hermione mocking Trelawney, and Harry always needing to get a final word in)
- Reduce some of the more over the top stuff (Trim the whole whomping willow scene)

Brief Synopsis:
This edit takes the final two seasons and rearranges them to make the Night King and his army be the climax as it should have been. Tons of cuts and edits were made to try to save the characters from the awful writing and to keep their original arcs intact.

My main fixes were to:
- Remove the rushed Mad Daenerys arc
- Retain Jaime's character
- Give the Night King some substance
- Give Bran things to actually do
- Make Arya and Sansa not appear to be so stupid
- Remove the dumbing down of Tyrion and endless ball jokes
- Remove or tone down fast travel
- Remove all fakeout deaths, especially in the battle for Winterfell
And tons and tons of other small changes.
