Event Horizon: Slashed aka Killer Horizon

Watched this last night (wife watching Eurovision, the worst annual event ever!) – absolutely phenomenal. Really took this film by the horns and the extra sources brought this film to life. Now a real sense of doom throughout the whole film and I kinda like the confusing atmosphere – adds to the thrill.

A Fan-Edit classic, methinks!

holy crap! talk about scary!

i think the editing is VERY well done and i completely enjoyed this edit. mollo takes a mostly average, disturbing sci-fi flick and converts it to an enormously entertaining psychological horror film.

my only nitpick from an entertainment standpoint, is i could have done without most of the cuts away from the ship to the horribly disgusting, writhing woman. kinda was a downer for me. still 5/5.

Well done Mollo. I’m a fan of the original and this is adventurous and skilful work.

I don’t quite know how you pulled off the final 10 minutes like you did, but it works as a completely valid alternative ending in my view.

Event Horizon was never a perfect film, so neither is this, but what you’ve done with the movie is amazing.
