3.This was a valiant effort, and I applaud the work that went into this.
However, since so much time had to be removed due to the holodeck nonsense, this was more like a “sorry-it’s-over-here’s-something-to-send-it-off-with-what-we-wrote-last-night-on-cocktail-napkins”.

Mind you, that’s no fault of Insignia’s. The source material was… ‘lacking’, to put it lightly.

Anyway, on to the details.

Technical quality: 6/10 with a +1 for effort.
Poor Jonathan Frakes was the bane of this edit in -so- many ways. Pan/Zoom to get him out of the shot degraded the quality a bit. Audio was tolerable for where this came from.

Editing quality: 7/10 with a +1 for effort.
There were some noticeable chops that could’ve been smoothed over with other ship/shuttle/planet external shots from different episodes, but that’s just how I’d try to fill it in. Although, seeing as how I’ve only done five minute edits on youtube, take that with a grain of salt.

Presentation: N/A – avi

Entertainment: 8/10 – This was far better than what was presented on the air, even IF it was so short.

Overall: 7/10
