Having shared interests is important for a healthy relationship. Unless the interests are both very illegal and very dangerous, anyway. Very impressive editing on display here - everything flows naturally. It doesn't feel like anything has been excised. Heartbreaking and intense. The only downside is the wonky 30fps framerate, which isn't correctable with the editor's current software. Excellent results in spite of this technical limitation, however.

Very good (and gloomy) fanedit.
I watched the vimeo stream and I found that the frame rate was not super smooth so I removed some points on the video quality rating because of that.
To tell so much in just 15 minutes is always difficult and it's done VERY well here.
Bravo.

A fantastically-assembled, fairly depressing story about love vs addiction. It's been a while since I watched Requiem For A Dream but the editing was IMO seamless - not just in terms of the narrative flow but also the rhythm of the scenes and fitting the music being used. Impressive work!

Really great short version of 'Requiem for a Dream.' The editing is masterful. It's really tough to condense a feature length narrative into 15 minutes but Adabisi did a great job. The only thing that was a bit off was the arm, however I get the idea (that he hallucinated, fell off a building and that was the result) it's just that a clean arm severing didn't totally work with that injury. There's not a seam visible in the edit, very well done.

This was pretty great. First off, the stuttering of the video didn't bother me, and in fact I thought it enhanced the drugged out atmosphere of the film. The only real fault I think this has is that we're missing some stuff from the end. SPOILERS for a 16 year old film... All of a sudden Leto is missing an arm? Whaaaaa? We don't see that happening. Unless I had some serious amnesia while watching this, that came out of nowhere. Now of course, I've seen the movie so I know what happened, but in the context of this short, it's not quite right. But seriously, that's really the only issue I had with this. (Ok fine, that and the fact that I wish you had kept the double-anal-dildo scene. Fine I said it, are you happy?)
