A nice bit of retro charm added to an otherwise pointless remake. The shortening of the runtime doesn't hurt either. Not one that I can wholeheartedly recommend but if you're curious to see what Jackie Earle Haley's take on Freddy K is like, this is definitely the least painful way to do so.
