Much better than the original movies which are unwatchable in my opinion. I especially liked the B&W, it really changed the atmosphere. Although still not canon, Peter Cushing is now worthy of the name Doctor. This is a great companion piece that any Who fan should add to their collection.

This is just a real joy to watch.

I loved original online weekly release and now I love it even more having it on dvd to watch all over again whenever I wish.

The restructuring of the original movies into the style of the classic series works fantastically well, especially with returning the Doctor back to his alien roots. The serials move at a brisk and engaging pace with nearly pitch perfect cliffhangers for each individual episode. It really captures the feel of the old series very well.

The menu design has a cool retro poster design that I really enjoyed. Each dvd is loaded with extras which I found very enlightening and entertaining.

All in all, a very comprehension and well put together package.

Highly recommended for all Whovians, old and new. :)
