Dino Crisis

I will try to describe my review without giving away spoilers :)
I loved that the movie starts how it starts, everything before that never really mattered anyway and the audience is only interested in the park, to begin with.

I enjoyed the added deleted scenes and they blend in really well in my opinion and made the movie feel fresher to me since I already know the movie quite well.

I agree with all scenes that were cut, I only wished the kind of annoying "greek looking guy" from the control room would have cut down a bit. It takes me out of the movie that he talks to his boss(es) quite critically and cynically, he would be the first to be fired in real life lol. Also, I am not sure that his "insights" are quite needed for the audience since Owen is rightfully the one that lays out the moral scruples in this movie since he has a relationship with some of the dinosaurs.

Lastly, I loved how the movie starts (the opening) but the title of the movie quite got me out of it. It made me feel like I am watching a spoof of the real movie. "A New Jurrasic World" or something closer to the original title would have done it way better for me!

The new color grading worked really well also! :)

It's a great fanedit that makes it a true and worthy sequel to the classic Jurassic Park movie and I especially like the title of the movie most of all because I am a fan of that video game that shares the same title and honestly feel like they have made that into a movie instead of these unnecessary sequels that unfortunately feels like they are beating a dead horse but I think they tried to do that but it ended up becoming that monster hunter movie instead(by the makers of the resident evil movies). I actually watched the two movies together and this one is honestly as good as the original. The only main complaint I have is audio which isn't great almost mono-like yet serviceable but can sometimes be hard to hear especially in loud situations which I assume was to match the sound quality of the deleted scenes to make the scenes transition well as he did with the visuals but you can still tell it is when those scenes come on though I don't really mind since deleted scenes never sounded that great in general, to begin with.

I liked this edit a lot, very nice improvements to a movie I already enjoyed. I agree with the other reviewers on the audio, but other than that this edit is close to flawless.

I´ve watched the original one time and was a little underwhelmed due to a lot of unnecessary plotlines which resulted for me in feeling bored.
This edit removes this and i got the feeling of a way more serious and unexpectally kind of menacing movie. I liked it very much :)

Color grading is superb from my point of view.

One little gripe: at the scene where claire hides the boys in the back of the truck the audio quality decreased. It became blunt in comparison to previous and afterwards scenes.

A wonderful edit and a true fanfix.
This edit does what it promises, and does it well. Claire is much more likeable, seems more capable, and her character arc is clearer. The deleted scenes support the narrative and the trimmed bits are hardly missed. There are still parts that can be further trimmed to improve her character (e.g., "You don't know how old your nephews are?" at 49:28) but that's optional.
Regarding the deleted scenes - they are visually perfect, and the color grading is indeed an improvement. However, there is a clear shift in the audio whenever we switch to a deleted scene. I am not sure whether it is fixable, but it is definitely noticeable.
One last note, regarding the name of the edit - I think it is not very informative and can be applied to each film in the series. I think a better name should refer to the strong theme of control. Maybe 'Out of Control' or 'Freak of Nature'.
