Brief Synopsis:
AtoBtoX is a chronologically restructured version of Deadpool with the deleted and extended scenes reinstated.
Intention:
Initially I wanted to see how Deadpool would play out more like the sequel instead of the flashback structure of the original, then I read an interview with Tim Miller in which he states that he regrets removing the Guatalajara scence from the finished film. As it existed on the disk along with other deleted scenes I decided to replace all them which had completed or no vfx into a extended chronological version. I think Deadpool works perfectly in its original form, therefor this version is just intended to be a different viewing experience and not a replacement for the original.
Additional Notes:
As the deleted scenes are slightly lower quality I also have a version available on request without them.
Other Sources:
JunkieXl's Deadpool soundtrack
Ciacada sound fx from freesounds.org to help with an awkward transition from a reinstated deleted scene

This is, in my opinion, not how it should be watched for the first go around. That being said this is an excellent edit! The beginning has a much darker feel than the theatrical release. For me, that made the narrative for rewatching more enjoyable. If you are a Deadpool fan looking for a new viewing experience this may be the edit you are looking for!

I didn't know I needed this. I'm a fan of the original Deadpool as it was, I decided to check this out just because it could maybe be a nice little change. But to my surprise, I liked it even better than the original. It works very well, and in my opinion, even better in chronological order. And I like the integration of the deleted scenes, the Guadalajara scene probably should have been in the theatrical cut to begin with.

i usually don't like flashbacks or time travel in movies, so i was happy to see this project rearrange deadpool in a chronological order. this version flows from start to finish, allowing the story to build upon itself. i much prefer this over the original.

I was lucky enough to get to preview this edit, and I was immediately enthralled. Whilst I've never really considered Deadpool a candidate for an edit, having thoroughly enjoyed the original cut, I was intrigued by the notion of an extended chronological retelling.

The resequencing really unlocks a new angle on the story, and the deleted scenes only enhance that. The editing makes you feel like this is the way the story has always been told, and is technically perfect with individual cuts being completely invisible. The deleted and extended scenes were equally well integrated, with the slight drop in video quality being imperceptible on my setup. Watching this movie in chronological order really helps it grow in the telling, and I noticed certain narrative and character beats in a whole new light. I really enjoyed seeing the plot unfold the way it did, and it put a fresh twist on the material that I'll definitely go back to.

Overall, a complete success, and definitely worth your time if you're a fan of Deadpool.
