So TM2YC is one of the more prolific editors on FE.org. He also seems to have an endless supply of ideas for edits. Unfortunately it's taken me a long time to finally watch one of his edits, because the edits that he had released were not of interest to me. But a improved Judge Dredd piqued my interest.

There was a nice background to give context and background behind Danny Cannon and the production of the film.

The audio and video quality were top notch. The editing was nearly invisible, with the exception of one or two spots.

Removal of a lot of Rob Schneider! Rejoice! Plus removal of the romance! Excellent editing choices.

We're left with a much stronger movie. Improving on a film that is a guilty pleasure. This will definitely replace my theatrical Judge Dredd DVD.

Excellent job TM2YC!

I have watched this edit about 4 or 5 times now and haven't tired of it yet. This edit really did a lot to bring this film in line with the source material. The editor made some really good choices to tighten it up. I did have some additional cuts that I wanted to see and have discussed those with the editor on the thread.

Honestly, I think this cut comes closer to the source material than the new Dredd film. It is better at capturing some of the satire form the comic. This is a must see for any Judge Dredd fan and anyone else who wants to see a well edited project.

1995's Judge Dredd was the typical 90's movie. Dumb action, stupid sidekick, and a love story shoved into the movie just so the action hero would have something to look forward to just before the credits role. Thankfully, TM2YC is here to remove as much of Schneider as possible and to eliminate that love story that the real Dredd would never have engaged in.

Firstly, the visual and audio editing is definitely up there. There are small bits and pieces that you can tell were edited around, but are barely noticeable. I'm going to guess that Blu-Ray for Judge Dredd isn't going to be demo material considering the content, but the video quality is also up there. Everything in the story is consistent with the source material.

If i had to show someone a version of Judge Dredd, it probably would be this version. There is less of Schneider, so the movie is more tolerable on that front. The love story is removed, so its more true to the source material. It might have been a guilty pleasure of mine beforehand, but now its a solid cut of a movie, albeit it still not as good as the new Dredd movie. Recommended.
