Incredible. Simply incredible. I have seen all five official versions of Blade Runner from Workprint to Final Cut and have also seen ADM’s Extended Edition, but this Nexus 6 Cut adds back the Blade Runner magic. While I’m not sure it succeeded in its goal of making a film that encourages us to think Deckard is human, this cut feels like such a breath of fresh air. It’s a film that’s immensely satisfying to watch now, and feels like it bridges the estrangement between the Theatrical Ending and the Endings in the Directors Cut, Workprint, and Final Cut. Whatever grievances about quality some have, this is a cut that I recommend to every Blade Runner fan. Fantastic work.
