Brief Synopsis:
These are 2 episodes from the sequel series Galactica 1980. It has all new CGI effects and features some deleted scenes to further support the plot.
Intention:
The main addition to this edit is new effect shots have been added for the missile attack on the planet Terra. The planet shield has been removed and other subtle enhancements.

Saw this some while ago and decided to revisit. The additions and enhancements work well as does the tightening up. Certainly more satisfying than the originals which would get a 7/8 max from me without these tweaks.

I've been fortunate enough to see all of DKerin's BSG Fanedits, and they are top notch. This is the way Galactica was originally intended. The intent originally was for BSG to be shown as TV Movies, longer format instead of episodic. When ABC changed their minds, the producers were forced to come up with additional scripts quickly, which led to some uneven quality. These edits fix that and keep the story focused and tight. Well done.
