I just finished watching this. Wow, did reeseevans cut the crap out of this. And by that I mean all of the garbage that kept making you facepalm and let out a big Charlie Brown "UGH!" is nowhere to be found here!

If you're a big Bat-fan like me, or Super-fan, you'll have seen the original a few times and know there are some big pieces missing. But do not let that sway you into not watching this. If you're going to watch this, DO NOT look at the cut list beforehand. You DON'T want to know what is missing, because even though a lot is gone, this works so well that you will not be disappointed by the cuts. There will be a moment or two where you'll think, "Aww, I wanted to see that", but believe me, after you watch this to completion you will be happy for the cuts.

So as you can see from that paragraph, I enjoyed this fanedit A LOT.

There were a few issues that I had with the cut, though. First, when Supes saves Lois after Lex pushes her off the top of the building, Lois says to Supes, "You came back. You came back." With the way this fanedit was done, I didn't feel like he was even really gone. He left the courthouse, visited Martha, and then saved Lois in a fairly short span of time. Second, I felt like Lex's plan to pit BvS against each other was not as strong as it could have been. But to be honest, I don't know what even could have been done to add to this cut to make Lex look like more of a mastermind, so I'll let that go for now.

Superman's ending: a big chance, and I think it worked. I don't want to spoil that, but it is not what you're expecting at all. It's one of those endings you need sit and think about for a minute right after the scene ends, and if you reflect on what you saw and not what your brain is telling you that you saw, you can appreciate it.

The editing: SMOOTH. I don't think I noticed one single flaw in the video OR audio. Everything blended incredibly well.

Even with the little issues that I had, there weren't enough to take even one star away in any category.

The original BvS is a FALSE GOD. Kneel before this version. reeseevans, you should be proud. Thank you for this.

Batman v Superman is a complex, overly angry and edgy beast, but much like DC's recent ''Rebirth'' iniative in the comic books, sometimes hope is all you need to tame it. The original film has very little of that in it, from the themes, character motivations, the lousy editing, to the very colour grading, and all in the name of needless franchise-building which, frankly after seeing the original, you're left in a quandry over whether or not the rest of the DCU is worth any investment.

Thankfully here, there is hope. The edits are seemless, the grading is bright, and there is no clutter. The main event is the centerpiece of the movie as the title demanded, and the ending is more in-line with how Clark and even Bruce ought to be.

We did not come here for the Justice, but with this edit, you can stay for the dawn.

Batman v Superman: No Justice is a fan edit worth your time.

To start, this new fan edit has a better, faster pace. The trimming of scenes are flawless, leaving no traces of it being tampered with from the original movie. (cutting out Jimmy being Jimmy for example) And to be honest, letting that photographer just be a CIA agent, and NOT Jimmy, is much better. Small choices are also made on Lex Luther, to make him seem less twitchy. Though we have to live with what ever parts of the performance we were left with anyway to help the story move, it is better and easier for people to digest.

It's hard not to imagine your own fan edit of this movie, especially if you view it multiple times for the parts that work. Having said that, the movie's edit is not flawless. There are certain moments in the batmobile chase scene that should have been left in (such as Batman putting a locator on the truck) but for those who were thrown off by Batman ramming into a car killing several people, will be very happy with how this scene was spliced together. It is a scene that always belonged in the middle of the movie for balancing purposes, but that is on the film itself, and not something a fan edit will fix.

The selling point for this edit is the third act. The thing everyone paid money to see. Batman verses Superman. Though some more pointers could go to the editing of setting the scene up (like Lois just knowing to go to Gotham without Superman telling her where he is off to) it is still the fight you came to see. This edit will not change your opinion on how much you enjoyed, or did not enjoy the fight. There was a cool little line from the trailer, absent from the finished product, I was happy to hear make its way into this scene.

This cut of the film is very well made, no matter what personal ideas one might have for their own edit. The story removes all notions of a connected universe, such as Justice League, Wonder Woman, even Doomsday. It is as it probably always should have been. A movie about Batman at odds with Superman. I highly recommend for anyone who wanted to see this film in an alternate reality, where the cinematic universe is not a requirement for your comic book movie.

Go watch BATMAN V SUPERMAN: NO JUSTICE.

Without a doubt, the best version of this film I've seen. The tighter runtime helps the film tremendously!
